Meet Carmen, my new One-of-a-kind red handbag featuring 

a Poppy Flower Doll Face with vintage Handles.

“I knew I had to make some beautiful bags with that lovely Red mesh fabric I found in summer. It reminds me of the old Spanish window lattices, carnations, and poppy flowers… It matched perfectly with the cream vintage handles that I kept from a long ago. Poppy flower dolls cheered it up with her smiling faces and then… I realized that Carmen as the best name for this very limited and unique collection.”

These are the two mini tote bags I made from a beautiful red mesh, 

a cute lightweight fabric that is also sturdy and resistant. 

I sewed and assembled it, it's reinforced with double seams. 

They both come with two round comfortable vintage plastic handles 

in a cream/bone white color.

Used some Black Velvet and Felt, 

as petals, 

to decorate the embroidered Poppy flowers 

Perfect for everyday essentials. 

You can carry a wallet, phone, make-up, keys… 

for city walks and nights out. 

for any crafter or sewing enthusiast.

They make an original and cute gift.

New SHOP UPDATE! Tote bags

hola!
acabo de subir a la tienda estos dos totes nuevos,
bastante diferentes entre sí, jeje
en ambos casos he combinado varias técnicas.
en una sellos caseros y pincel,
y en la otra he añadido aplicaciones con lana.
(muy bien sujetas, sin peligro de desprenderse ;)

la teterita es un dibujo mío que le gustaba mucho a gabi y se pinté en una camiseta,
pero le venía un poquillo estrecha,
así que la he acabado llevando yo y le he cogido cariño.

el tote con  las trenzas y el pompón fucsia (bastante fluor)
es una versión personal de Little Miss Sunshine,
el personaje de Roger Hargreaves.
ya llevo varias cosas hechas con las trenzas y el pompón,
es tan setentas...
si por mi fuera, se los añadiría a todo!!!

espero que acabéis bien el finde,

i've just updated the shop with these two new tote bags,
so different from each other!
i mixed techniques,
homemade stamps + brush and brush + yarn appliques.

this teapot is a doodle i did that Gabriel loved very much
and i painted it on a t-shirt for his birthday,
but it was too tight for him...
so i end up wearing and loving it.

 the braided bag with neon pink pompom
is a personal version of Little Miss Sunshine,
the sweet Roger Hargreaves' character.
i've been making several things using this kind of yarn stuff,
very 70s,
as far as i'm concerned i would add braids
and pompom to everything!!!

Little Thing + kleinformat magazine + embroidered handbag

hola!
os presento mi nuevo bolso de borreguito,
encontré unas asas antiguas de plástico imitando bambú
y tenía que hacer algo con ellas,
así que estoy probando cosas nuevas para los talleres de bordado
y de paso poniendo al día mi armario ;)
quiero hacer algunos modelos diferentes de bolsos-cabezas para la tienda,
compré varias lanas y telas peluditas super chulas
ya tengo unas ganas de ver cómo quedan.

this is my new furry handbag,
i found these vintage plastic handles that lokked as bamboo
and i had to use them.
so i'm testing new samples for my embroidery workshops
and updating my wardrobe at the same time ;)
i'd like to test some other head handbags designs for the shop
with other wool and furry materials
i'm excited to see how they work.

conocéis estas revistas?
en diciembre tuve la suerte de que publicasen mis relojes en Little Thing magazine,
el número iba sobre la hora/el tiempo.
es una revista china preciosa y con mucha cosa interesante,
los editoriales de moda son chulísimos
y en febrero incluso salieron los muñecos de Jess Quinn,
altamente recomendable.

y la otra revista de la que os quería hablar es kleinformat,
me pidieron que colaborase haciendo una actividad/pasatiempo para niños.
mi preferidos siempre han sido las 8 diferencias,
así que hice un pequeño homenaje a mi ídolo Jean Laplace,
ya haré un post sobre su trabajo, porque me fascina.
me he propuesto hacer más pasatimepos con las diferencias,
son lo más!
hay además una pequeña entrevista.
la revista es super completa,
hay patrones, tutoriales, recetas, reportajes...
todo con un formato y diseño muy bonito.
su blog también está genial.

my fake watches were featured on Little Thing magazine last december,
it was an issue about time.
this is a beautiful chinese zine with a lot of interesting stuff inside,
fashion and lifestyle spots are amazing,
lovely Jess Quinn was featured on last february issue,
i recomend it to everyone!

the other magazine that i wanted to tell you about is kleinformat magazine,
they asked me to make a children activity or game.
my favorite one has ever been to find the 8 differences,
so i made a tribute to Jean Laplace,
i'll blog about his work because i love it.
maybe i'll make some more differences games, let's see if i got some spare time ;)
there's also a short interview in the magazine,
this is a really full magazine lovely designed,
there are free patterns, tutorilals, recipes, news...
and they have a great blog.
