it's raining,
a perfect day for staying home and having some fun
making my dear teapot dolls.
love dolls' spooky faces after cutting off stitches.

a pesar de que la tienda lleva una temporada muy tranquilita
esta última semana he estado preparando algunos envíos.
 Pepo y Paquito han partido ya rumbo a Hong Kong!
es tan curioso que viajen a sitios en los que nunca he estado...
este último paquetito de temática teteril fue a Madrid,
mis teteras deben de pasárselo bomba en casa de Silvia!!
me encanta preparar envíos ;)

 espero que acabéis de pasar un feliz día!

despite the shop has been very quiet lately,
i was busy preparing some orders last week.
Pepo & Paquito are now flying to Hong Kong!
 it's so exciting and funny when my things travel to places where i haven't been before...
this other package containing teapots and tea time watches set off for Madrid,
guess Silvia's home is always in a happy tea party mood :)

hola! cómo va todo?
yo sigo liada preparando fotos y más fotos,
a este paso no sé cuando voy a subir los posts de los talleres
bueno, todo llegará, no? ;)

os quería enseñar un colgador muy especial que hice hace un tiempo para Silvia,
una amiga de madrid muy fan de mi teterita.
me quedó tan bonita que he pensado en hacer algunas más bajo pedido
tan sólo haré 6 teteritas como esta,
es una edición super limitada!
podéis hacer el pedido ya en la tienda.

i just wanted to show you a custom order i made for Silvia,
a friend who is a big fan of my teapot doll.
i loved so much this wall hook that i've thought to make some more to order,
this is going to be a very limited edition of 6 teapot wall hangers like the one pictured here.
it's now avaible on the shop.

New SHOP UPDATE! Tote bags

hola!
acabo de subir a la tienda estos dos totes nuevos,
bastante diferentes entre sí, jeje
en ambos casos he combinado varias técnicas.
en una sellos caseros y pincel,
y en la otra he añadido aplicaciones con lana.
(muy bien sujetas, sin peligro de desprenderse ;)

la teterita es un dibujo mío que le gustaba mucho a gabi y se pinté en una camiseta,
pero le venía un poquillo estrecha,
así que la he acabado llevando yo y le he cogido cariño.

el tote con  las trenzas y el pompón fucsia (bastante fluor)
es una versión personal de Little Miss Sunshine,
el personaje de Roger Hargreaves.
ya llevo varias cosas hechas con las trenzas y el pompón,
es tan setentas...
si por mi fuera, se los añadiría a todo!!!

espero que acabéis bien el finde,
y que la Fuerza os acompañe toda la semana! ;)

i've just updated the shop with these two new tote bags,
so different from each other!
i mixed techniques,
homemade stamps + brush and brush + yarn appliques.

this teapot is a doodle i did that Gabriel loved very much
and i painted it on a t-shirt for his birthday,
but it was too tight for him...
so i end up wearing and loving it.

 the braided bag with neon pink pompom
is a personal version of Little Miss Sunshine,
the sweet Roger Hargreaves' character.
i've been making several things using this kind of yarn stuff,
very 70s,
as far as i'm concerned i would add braids
and pompom to everything!!!

hola!
no os había enseñado la funda de ganchillo que hice para mi tetera,
aunque es un poco friki porque no tiene gorrito,
me gustó como quedaba y así la dejé.
utilicé una variante del punto concha, que se llama popcorn o puff stitch,
la verdad es que no sé cómo se llama en castellano,
no está mal el nombre de punto palomita de maíz...

más fundas de tetera bonitas y algunos tutoriales

el jueves empezó Carnestoltes y la gente se disfraza por la calle.
me gusta su Majestad el Rei Carnestoltes del cartel de este año,
es obra de Toni Camarasa :)

i still hadn't show you the crochetted teapot cozy i made,
it's a quite funny and useless without anything at the top... but i liked how it looked!
i made it with a popcorn or puff stitch.

Canestoltes (catalan carnival) started on thursday
and people walk through the streets in colorful costumes, but just on these days.
