Seashell bag,
the mermaid's bag.

i made two of these cuties,
one for you and one for me.
perfect to keep my cell phone, purse, and keys handy.

it's a really lovely bag for gift giving,
it's small, cute and light.

i used a
a glammy and beautiful floral brocade vintage weight fabric in
mustard yellow combined
with a fluffy pink faux-fur for the inside.
The handle is a cotton rope finished
by two yellow woolen braids with a beige tiny bow
and it round magnetic clasp closure.

The face and the seashell decorations are hand embroidered
with pom-pom, pink faux-fur, and cotton appliques.

este domingo 21 de 10h a 13h
en la mercería Núvol de fils,
estaremos bordando a María Castaña
con los nuevos hilos étoile de DMC.
yo los he utilizado para bordar la tiara de hojitas y la flor,
brillan discretamente y son suaves y esponjosos,
parecen lanitas,
son un amor.

hacía tiempo que quería empezar un nuevo patrón
para mis talleres de bordado
y estoy contentísima de cómo ha quedado!

con esta castañita aprenderemos
a bordar líneas de contorno y rellenos,
los puntos rectos, pespunte, cordoncillo, cadeneta, festón,
punto de nudo francés, mosca, margarita
 y también cómo hacer lacitos perfectos.
(estoy praparando algo muy chulo
con este patrón tan otoñal.)

Mónica ha preparado unos packs con telas, hilos agujas,
bastidor y creo que incluso harán tijeritas de regalo!
me encanta hacer taller en esta mercería,
me siento como en casa,
