hola! espero que esté yendo bien la semana :)
gracias por todos los preorders qe estáis haciendo, me pone tan contenta que os guste el nuevo calendario!!

ahora, permitidme que os presente a nuestro nuevo gatito!! jeje
a falta en casa de animales de carne y hueso

(con excepción de las arañitas y demás bichos que habitan con nosotros)

nos trajimos de Londres un gatito de peluche del que me enamoré en una librería,
me encantan sus patitas, es lo más gracioso del mundo.

por lo visto se trata de Bagpuss

(aunque al nuestro le pusimos de nombre "tigretón")

un felino, muy popular por esos lares,

protagonista de una serie de los setenta, y yo sin saberlo!!

he indagado un poco en su historia y he alucinado con todo su mundo!

este gato, es un muñeco de trapo mágico, su dueña una niña llamada emily tiene una tienda un tanto especial, porque no vende nada.
siempre que encuentra algo que necesita ser reparado,

lo lleva a su tienda y allí Bagpuss y los otros muñecos lo intentan arreglar, hay discusiones de qué puede ser cada cosa, y para que servirá...
cómo me hubiese encantado ver esta serie de pequeña.

now, plesase, let me introduce you our new kitty!! hehe
in the absence of real animals in our house
(with the exception of spiders and other critters, whom we're living with)
we took home a saggy old cloth cat that some of you will know.
it was love at first sight, without knowing who it was
i bought Bagpuss at a book store.
(although our Bagpuss is now called "tigretón",
the name of a filled pastry from our childhood )
i love its legs, it's the sweetest thing in the world.

Bagpuss is a british classic, a BBC children's programme from the seventies.
i love this magical story:
there was a little girl called Emily who had a rather unusual shop,
because it didn't sell anything.
"...In the series Emily would find a discarded object that needed repairing and bring it to Bagpuss. She would sing to wake him and his friends – the Mice on the Mouse Organ, Madeleine the ragdoll, Gabriel the toad and Professor Yaffle, the distinguished old woodpecker..."
i would love to see this program as a child.

gracias por los comentarios en el post anterior, qué contenta me he puesto!
la verdad es que no estaba muy segura de si el calendario de este año
gustaría tanto como el del año anterior,
y me hace muy feliz saber que mucha gente que compró
el anterior, este año repetirá! yupiii! :D
acabo de subirlos a la tienda, hay un 30% de descuento si lo encargais ahora,
así los puedo imprimir a finales de mes y enviarlos a principios de diciembre!
he añadido también el pack de dos calendarios ;)

y qué tal ha ido la semana?
yo pensaba haber tenido un poco más de tiempo libre para poder hacer números y subir el calendario antes a la tienda,
pero he estado toda la semana preparando los talleres para la feria Creativa.
estamos desde el jueves organizando talleres con Duduá,
Claudia con sus talleres de tricot, Laura con la aguja mágica y yo con bordado.
también estoy en el stand de DMC y ayudando en algunos talleres que hacen allí.
ayer ayudé a Núria Picos, la super profe de muchos de sus talleres,
con los niños en su taller de tapicería, estuvo muy bien :)

the truth is that I wasn't sure that this new calendar
would be as popular as the previous one.
and I am happy to know that many people who bought
it, will order again! that's great!! : D

and how was your week?
i've been all week preparing some workshops for a big fair.
from Thursday we'are organizing some Duduá's workshops,
Claudia teaching knitting, Laura and her magic needle and I'm doing embroidery workshops.
I'm also helping in some workshops at DMC's stall.
Yesterday lovely Núria Picos teached tapestry to children,
it was funny helping them!

New Dolis y Dolos 2012 Calendar!

hola guapas/guapos!
llevo desde octubre con pruebas y más puebas,
pero ya está listo el nuevo calendario 2012!
al final este año haré impresión digital en una cartulina mate A4 de 170gr muy gustosa.
estára disponible en la tienda esta semana, ya os avisaré ;)
habrá descuento para quien encargue su calendario antes de la última semana de noviembre,
a principios de diciembre los tendré impresos y listos para enviar.

Kerry y Jess me han echado un cable con el inglés
llevaba un lío con lo que decían las tres florecillas...

i've been working on the new calendar since september,
i was diying for showing it to you,
and now it's ready! here is the new 2012 calendar!
it's going to be a wonderful digital print, a smooth matte cardboard of 170gr.
A4 (8,27x11,7 inches)
it be available at my online shop this week, i'll tell you ;)
there will be discounts if you pre-order your calendar before the last week of november
will be printed and ready to ship in early december!

i have to thank Kerry and Jess who helped me with the english text,
i was really confused about what those three flowers said.
hope you like it,

espero que hayáis pasado una feliz semana
mil gracias por todas vuestras visitas y comentarios,
me habéis mimado mucho estos días...
me encanta estar de vuelta!!

estas son las fotos y los enlaces que me quedaban todavía del Renegade,
me quedé fascinada (cómo no!) viendo a la gente participando en los talleres,
qué envidia me dio verlos tan atareados
sobre todo viendo a tanto chico dominando las técnicas,
a ver si se animan los chicos de aquí!
parece que no saben que aparte de pasear un bebé,
cuando un chico aparece haciendo ganchillo, cosiendo o haciendo punto
las chicas se derriten a sus pies.
así que señores, ya están tomando nota.

el buen ambiente y la buena compañía (super Kerry y super Sofia)
ayudaron a que ese día fuese perfecto!

Buenos días! :)

he tardado en ordenar un poco las cosas, y también mi cabeza...

una de las cosas que no quería dejar de contaros

era nuestra visita a la feria craft del Renegade.

ese día quedé con Kerry, una ilustradora que tiene uno de mis blogs favoritos: Seventy Tree,

de la que alguna vez os había hablado,

y con Sofía, (Hey Sosi) otra artista gráfica que también me encanta

y con la que hace un tiempo que llevo escribiéndome,

fue una suerte poder disfrutar de su compañía ese día.

también tenía muchas de conocer en persona a Tania (Ninon) y a Jess Quinn,
(ambas participaban en la feria)
y poder ver de cerca sus trabajos.

fue un lujo, ellas son igual o más encantadoras si cabe que sus personajes.

además, Sadie la hija de Jess, era tan graciosa...

estaba ayudando super orgullosa a su madre en la paradita!

por desgracia no pudimos comprar todo lo que nos hubiera gustado,

pero alguna cosita cayó ;)
me quedé con las ganas de traerme unos de los estuches de Tania,
porque no se había llevado ninguno a la feria...

pero buneo, el broche de Jess es uno de mis tesoros
y compré también ese tote amarillo.

(ay! por cierto hay un sorteo en su blog)

si me lo permitís, como tengo muchas fotos del Renegade,
voy a hacer dos partes, porque como siempre me enrollo un montón.

mientras podéis chafardear en los post y las crónicas del renegade

i've been very slow organizing things, and ideas...
one of the things i wanted to tell you about
was our visit to the Renegade craft fair.

we meet Kerry that day, an lovely illustrator
who has one of my favorite blogs: Seventy Tree
and sweet Sofía, (Hey Sosi) another artist that i loved too.
we felt really lucky enjoying their company that day.

i was very excited to meet Tania (Ninon) and Jess Quinn,
(both them with a stall in the show) and their creations.
it was great! they are even more charming, if it's possible
than their amazing characters.
and Jess's daughter, Sadie was so cute and sweet ...
she was helping her talented mother in the stall.

unfortunately we couldn't buy all the things we wished...
i would loved to bring home any of Tania's pouches, but she didn't have any of them at her stall.
Jess brooch is one of my treasures and i bought also a yellow tote.
(oh! don't miss november's draw on Jess blog)

as i took so many photographs of the fair,
i'll have to leave some of them for another post.
