Dolls & Comics

i'm working on two dolls for the first comic book of my loved partner gabriel corbera,
"Days longer than long Pork Sausages"
(a great event for us!! it will be published by Space Face Books)

funny to watch all the transformations and tests these soft bodies are suffering,
these two fellows are living now another parallel live! haha
yesterday, i spend a rainy afternoon at home,
finishing one head, hair making and embroidering muscles, face...
 while watching "Blue Hawaii"(as a child, i was a super fan of Elvis) on tv.

estoy trabajando en dos muñecos para el cómic de mi querido gabi,
"Days longer than long pork sausages"
(un gran acontecimiento para nosotros,
 estará publicado por Space Face Books)
es muy curioso ver las transformaciones y las pruebas
que están experimentando estos cuerpos tan blanditos,
 están viviendo una nueva vida paralela! jeje

ayer me pasé una tarde lluviosa en casita acabando una de las cabezas, haciéndole su peinado y bordándole músculos, cara... mientras veía la peli "Blue Hawaii"en la tele,
de pequeña era super fan de Elvis!

cómo se nota que ya no tengo casi talleres!! jeje
bueno, pasado mañana haré el taller de estampado y bordado de totes en Duduá,
(todavía estáis a tiempo de apuntaros si os apetece pasar la tarde con nosotras
decorando bolsas en la terracita del bar Cosmo ;))
ahora tengo más tiempo para ir terminando y subiendo algunas cosas nuevas a la tienda.
.
así que os presento al señor guisante y al señor cacahuete,
que ya están cómodamente instalados en la tienda
esperando a que alguien se los lleve de paseo!
Los guisantes tienen dos mofletes rosas y
los cacahuetes tienen topitos rosas por todo el cuerpo.
me encantan los topos :)

poco a poco las cositas que hicimos para el The Crafter Project
de La Casita de Wendi van partiendo a sus nuevos hogares.
ya sólo queda una de mis cinco Ninfas en su tienda!
me pregunto con quién se irá... :)

el último número de la revista Finerats viene cargadito de buenos artistas
y con varias ilustraciones de Gabi!
no nos quisimos perder su fiesta de presentación en El Bigote del Sr. Smith.
un nuevo sitio que pinta genial!
 fue divertido.

I just finished some workshops and enjoyed working on several old projects.

and includes two Gabriel's illustrations!
we enjoyed their great launch party at El Bigote del Sr. Smith,
an interesting gallery shop new in the city.
we had fun!

hola!!
cómo está yendo la semana santa?
últimamente estamos trabajando a toda máquina tanto gabi como yo,
así que no es de extrañar que vayan apareciendo cosas nuevas ;)

lo úlimo de Gabi son los las tiras de Monday Suicide
y la portada que ha hecho para la última novela gráfica de Marcos Prior,
será presentada en el próximo Salón del Cómic.
tenemos ganas de verlo, tocarlo y olerlo!!

how is your Easter going?
Gabriel and me are working full time at home lately,
always busy...
so it's hardly surprising that new works and projects come out so often ;)

Gabriel's latest comic strip is Monday Suicide
and his last comissioned work is the cover & backcover
for Marcos Prior's The Year Of The 4 Emperors,
a graphic novel that will be launched
this very April on the occasion of the 30th Saló Internacional del Còmic de Barcelona.
it's going to be published also in the united states, so many of you be able to get it ;)
we're really excited about it!!

New Dolis y Dolos 2012 Calendar!

hola guapas/guapos!
llevo desde octubre con pruebas y más puebas,
pero ya está listo el nuevo calendario 2012!
al final este año haré impresión digital en una cartulina mate A4 de 170gr muy gustosa.
estára disponible en la tienda esta semana, ya os avisaré ;)
habrá descuento para quien encargue su calendario antes de la última semana de noviembre,
a principios de diciembre los tendré impresos y listos para enviar.

Kerry y Jess me han echado un cable con el inglés
llevaba un lío con lo que decían las tres florecillas...

i've been working on the new calendar since september,
i was diying for showing it to you,
and now it's ready! here is the new 2012 calendar!
it's going to be a wonderful digital print, a smooth matte cardboard of 170gr.
A4 (8,27x11,7 inches)
it be available at my online shop this week, i'll tell you ;)
there will be discounts if you pre-order your calendar before the last week of november
will be printed and ready to ship in early december!

i have to thank Kerry and Jess who helped me with the english text,
i was really confused about what those three flowers said.
hope you like it,
my rag dolls will be happy to cheer you up in the course of next year!

la revista va de bigotes, y está genial, como siempre.
