Ilu·Station: Art shows, soccer & fun

el sábado fué la inauguración del Casting de Mascotas
y del nuevo local de Duduá, estuvo genial!
gabi y yo participamos con nuestras dos mascotas:
el "Zurullo" de gabi ;) y mi "Calcetín deportivo"

Mascots Casting,
Duduá's opening June 5th at 20:00pm
Gabriel and me joined the show with two mascots,
"Zurullo" by Gabriel (the little shit) and "Sport Sock" by me
and it was the first event placed on the new space of Duduá

exposiciones super interesantes y gente maravillosa!
me encantó conocer a Ameskeria,
a Cristina de Fem Manuals y a Monica Custodio!
y aluciné porque me presentaron a Delphine Durand y a Chamo!!
soy fan de Delphine desde hace un montón de tiempo
(tengo La casa de la Mei desde hace mil)
no os perdáis el proyecto que tienen en común: L'Articho
y cómo no, allí estaban también disfrutando
Maelström, Le Petit Pot, emedemarta, Víctor, Ernest, Emma...
bueno, ya véis que esto es una fiesta constante,
no quiero que acabe nunca la primavera!!
...
llevo varios días ultimando las los preparativos para
el taller del viernes en Duduá,
haciendo personajes con calcetines de deporte!
tengo ganas de acabarlos y enseñároslos.
todavía estáis a tiempo de apuntaros,
queda muy poquito!!
espero que paséis un feliz miércoles :D

i'm a fan of Delphine Durand from a long (maybe 5 years...), it was so exciting!

we're having lot of fun!! love spring time :D

and now i'm working on my next workshop this friday on Duduá,
making little characters with sport socks!
i want to finish them just to show you. more fun!! so amazing!

espero que estéis difrutando de este fin de semana,
ya parece que es veranito!
a pesar de tener mucho-mucho trabajo (y que dure!!)
he podido subir a la tienda algunas cositas que tenía hechas de hace tiempo.
fantasmitas primaverales con telas estampadas y colores más vivos.
y la versión mini de los colgantes Miniatures, he añadido dos nuevos modelos:
un corazón solitario y una elefantita.
(voy probando fotos y fondos diferentes porque no me acaban de convencer,
me resulta complicado fotografiar collares)

despite having much, much work (and last!)
i've updated my shop with new little things that i made few weeks ago.
Some Spring Friendly Ghosts made with flowered and gingham and brighter colors,
and some tinier Miniatures pendants with two more new models:
a lonely heart and a missy elephant.
(i'm still testing them onto different backgrounds,
photographing necklaces is always hard for me...)

New Workshop & more!

con motivo del Casting de Mascotas dentro de la programación de Ilu·Station,
realizaremos un nuevo taller en el espacio que estrenará Duduá,
como el tema de esta segunda edición es el futbol
utilizaremos calcetines deportivos para crear nuestras mascotas,
de esos bien horteras, aunque debo confesar que a mí siempre me han gustado,
el rojo y el azul son tan buena combinación...
éstos son más bien de tenis, pero espero encontrar minchetas,
de esas de lycra, de colores petardos con rayas blancas
o como las que llevaba Kim Deal de The Breeders...
(gabi me ha ayudado a dibujar las manos del cartel :P)

sólo tenéis que escribir un email a Alícia
será divertido!

we'll have a new workshop in Duduá's new gallery-shop,
on the ocassion of Mascots Casting Exhibition within Ilu·Station programming,
as the theme of this second edition is 2010 World Cup South Africa
we'll use sports socks to make our own mascots,
those particulary kitschy ones (i must confess that i always have liked them)
red and blue, so good combination ...
these are tennis socks, but i hope to find soccer socks,
those lycra, brighted color socks with white stripes
or those Kim Deal of The Breeders wore ...
(Gabriel helped me drawing both hands of the monster :P)

están encantadísimos de estar rodeados de tanta cosa bonita,
estoy enamorada de mr. bow-tie
