Club Talleres: Taller de Ilustración con hilos ( Duduá + Misako Mimoko)

hola!
estos días mi blog parece la Gaceta informativa,
pero es que están apareciendo un montón de cosas chulas  por aquí.
una de ellas es que Alícia de Duduá y yo vamos a unir fuerzas en un taller único que estará dirigido a ilustradores los días 30 y 31 de Mayo por la tarde,
las dos seremos profes, así que la cosa promete ser divertida.
será un taller especial a cuatro manos!!

"Ilustrar con hilos: Relieve y volumen" estará dedicado a toda ese tipo de ilustración hecha con hilos, lanas, cuerdecillas... con todo tipo de materiales y técnicas textiles.
repasaremos trabajos destacados del mundo de la ilustración y aprenderemos las técnicas básicas de bordado y amigurumi, hay algunos ejemplos de lo que veremos más abajo.
desarrollaremos ejemplos prácticos con relieve y tridimensionales, así como trucos para fotografiar el proyecto final.

este taller está incluido dentro de la iniciativa El Club Talleres, organizado por el equipo de ilustradores de Barcelona.
cuatro días enteros de talleres, destinados a enfocar y desarrollar la ilustración de una manera diferente, experimentando con los nuevos formatos y técnicas que están apareciendo actualmente.
los ilustradores encargados del resto de talleres son
los fantásticos Ilu·Station, Mariona Cabassa, Chispúm, Meritxell Duran,
José Luís Merino, Miguel Gallardo y Karin du Kroo, Noemí Villamuza
así que ya véis, que se trata de un super equipo de lujo!

i think that this blog is full of info about things and events that are happening around here these days,
i would like to post also some other things, like all the books that i want to share with you,
or all the beautiful stuff and artist that i'm discovering... but time goes fast,
and i'm not able to blog, i'm just working all day long!

but, it's nice to share and tell you about all the great projects that i'm involved on.
and this is one of my latests projetcs :)
Alícia of Duduá and me, are going to hold together a workshop focused on textil illustration, about embroidery and crochet techniques, will be working on different surfaces and creating 3D pieces.
an intensive course by two crazy crafty teachers!! hehe
it will be like a big party!

this workshop is organized by El Club Talleres, and the rest of the teachers are these amazing illutrators: the great Ilu·Station team, Mariona Cabassa, Chispúm, Meritxell Duran,
José Luís Merino, Miguel Gallardo and Karin du Kroo, Noemí Villamuza

Kitsch & contest! Concurso de Ganchillo Kitsch en Duduá!

hola!
os presento a mi caniche funda de botella, hecho con calcetines ;)

lo hice para uno de mis últimos talleres y os lo enseño con motivo

del Concurso de Ganchillo Kitsch que ha convocado Duduá
y en el que soy jurado junto con Aviv, nuestro super profe universal de ganchillo y amigurumi,

Núria Picos, experta en bordado con mayúsculas y Alícia, amante y defensora del kitsch, del ganchillo y de la angora.

y el concurso no es ni más ni menos que invitaros a crear fundas locas hechas de ganchillo o punto con cualquier forma imaginable, o inimaginable.

no os preocupéis si no estáis muy seguros de estar haciendo algo kitsch o no, 

el hecho de hacer una funda customizada de cualquier cosa ya es kitsch en sí mismo ;)
(os acordáis de las fundas de tetera de Donna Wilson? )

así que animaros a enviar vuestras fotos a Duduá antes del 22 de junio!

this is my poddle bottle cover made from socks ;)
i made it for one of my latest workshops.
i wanted to share it today because there's a funny contest holded by Duduá.
in which people is called to create kitsch crochetted or knitted covers customized as animals or objects, whatever you want!
and i'm going to be part of the jury :D
 together with our best amigurumi and crochet teacher: Aviv,
Núria Picos, the Master in embroidery and Alícia, an amazing crafter and also a kitsch & crochet & angora lover!

aluciné de laos animalitos que la gente llegó a hacer con calcetines, estaban realmente inspirados,
fue muy divertido!

navegando he visto que Kate Lilley del blog Minieco,
uno de mis blogs de manualidades favoritos ha sacado un libro,
y tiene muy buena pinta.
cuando era pequeña lo que más me gustaba de estar enferma era entretenerme con este tipo de libros.

y cómo no, he hecho más galletas, he probado esta nueva receta del tentador blog de Fran, Espacio Culinario:
Galletas de Ojo de Lince, sigo la línea surrealista del post.
como siempre he sustituido las harians de maiz y trigo, por centeno y quinoa,
y mi mermelada es de arándanos.
no son tan bonitas como las de su foto, pero siguen estando buenísimas

i replaced wheat and corn flour by rye and quinoa flour,
and i used blueberry jam,
so mine don't look as tasty as the original ones, but they are still yummy

At home

hola :)
el árbol que hay delante de casa ya está rebosante de verde,
estos días he podido disfrutar de su sombra y del vaivén de sus hojas ,
estrené moldes nuevos con formas de insectos, algunos quedaron muy bien,
otros... no tanto, se rompían facilmente.
ahora llevo dos días con anginas viendo el sol y el árbol de lejos,
estas otras imágenes son más fieles a lo que estamos viviendo estos días en casa.
estoy reparando relojes nuevos de mentira y más colgadores de pared.
sólo soy capaz de hacer eso, tengo un montón de cosas paradas!
espero volver pronto al balcón :)

hello there :)
the tree is already full of green,
i've been enjoying it as well as the trembling dance of the its leaves.
i baked some small cakes on the new bug shaped molds that i bought,
i'm pretty glad of how some of them worked out, others got broken very easily...
 these last two days i've been looking the tree and the sunlight throught the window
i've got tonsilitis (a new word that i've learnt!),
the images bellow better illustrate what we're living these days at home.
i'm preparing new fake watches and wall hooks.
i'm only able to make this kind of things, lot of work is awaiting my mind goes clear!
hope to enjoy the balcony soon :)

espero que hayáis disfrutado del fin de semana!
nosotros hemos estado en el salón del cómic y en un montón de presentaciones
y fiestas, queda pendiente para un próximo post ;)
ahora os quería enseñar algunas cosas que estoy haciendo para el nuevo proyecto que he empezado con gabi.
de momento ya hemos hecho varias reuniones en el balcón de casa,
he comprado un sinfín de material de trabajo y he empezado a montar algunos de los escenarios.
he navegado mucho en busca de inspiración,
hay un montón de cosas relacionadas con las casas de muñecas,
es todo un mundo! muchos tutoriales y papeles de pared, etiquetas de productos...

we've been visiting Barcelona's Comic Fest and lots of shows/parties,
i'll tell you about it on another post ;)
i just wanted to show you some of the things i've been making for a new project that i'm starting together with Gabriel.
we've already had some meetings at the balcony, bought lots of supplies and started to create some sets.
i've beeen browsing the net looking for some inspiration and I've found lots of interesting things related to dollhouses, tutorials, accessories, wallpapers...
