estas son algunas de las cositas que llegaron con el verano,

las muffins de i love muffins en el festivalet, la camiseta de Sirena con jersey,

flyer de la expo de Mogu en Tokio, el collar de lápices amarillos de corazón de galleta,

la libretita, sellos y cosas bonitas de Karla (la papeleria antigua)

y la diadema lacito de Natalia (Le Petit Pot).

últimamente no paro de conocer gente genial,

tiendas maravillosas, bonitos proyectos... de la gente que compra en mi tienda,

me siento afortunada!

estaría haciendo posts kilométricos llenos de links.

los iré posteando poco a poco ;)

ayer estuvo lloviendo a cántaros,

y se está super fresquito.

Daphne Padden

creo que la próxima muñeca que haga va a ser un árbol,
hice a dolo árbol y ahora le toca a la chica ;)
(aunque el hombre jarrón de más abajo, tampoco está nada mal...)
gabi me ha pasado esta ilustración de Daphne Padden
que encontró via Quad Royal, hay varios posts sobre sus carteles.
aquí y aquí también encontraréis más posters suyos

Gabriel showed me this cute illustration by Daphne Padden,
he found it via Quad Royal, there're several entries about this brilliant english poster artist.

y éstas son fotos de unos pasillos del metro de Londres,
de la parada Notting Hill Gate que quedaron cerrados
y en desuso a finales de los 50s,
todavía están colgados los carteles y anuncios de la época,

no os parece increíble?
qué suerte tenían entonces, esos posters son a cuál más bonito...
hay algunos que fueron creados por Daphne.

no he encontrado casi información sobre ella en internet:
Artista inglesa hija de otro ilustrador Percy Padden de los años 20 a 40s,
también especializado en posters.
aquí hay una pequeña bio que utilizó en algunas exposiciones.

these last photos (© London Underground) are part of a set on flickr, they’re in a disused passageway on London's Undreground, at Notting Hill Gate Station that date from late 50s and they still remains the same since they were closed (via Quad Royal)
aren't they amazing? such lovely arts covering the walls of the tube station!
some of them were created by Dahpne Padden.
i found just a little info about her,
she was the daughter of another english poster artits of the 20s-40s,
here is a bio that she wrote for her exhibitions.

acabo de ver la película "Julie & Julia" y me ha encantado.

(aunque el personaje de la protagonista Julia al final resulta un poco forzado)

Lost at the seaside

ya he vuelto, aunque he tenido tanto trabajo desde que llegué

que todavía no he podido ponerme al día con nada.
estuvimos en cadaqués,
paseamos y nos bañamos en el mar al atardecer.

espero volver esta semana poco a poco a la normalidad,

tengo tantas cosas que contaros y enseñaros.

pero antes quería desearos buenos días y feliz semana

y agradeceros todas las sorpresas

que me he encontrado al volver!

espero que estéis disfrutando del veranito!!

i'm back, although i've had such amount of work to do

that i still haven't been able to get up to date with most of things.

we went to cadaqués,

we had nice walks and bathes at sunset.

hope things will settle down this week!

first of all i wanted to say good gorning and wish you a happy week,

and thank you for all the lovely surprises i've met on my return.

Lazy artist watches

por fin he subido el reloj de mentira a la tienda!

de momento hay tres colores y tres medidas de correa
aunque es una cinta elástica y se ajusta bastante a la muñeca.
espero que os guste, a mí me encanta llevarlo!

no sé si conocéis las preciosidades que hace,
su tienda es una pasada, yo soy muy fan suya desde hace mil.

and three different sizes to better ajust any wrist.

Time for a fake/false watch

empezamos a preparar nuestra semana de vacaciones,
mi cabeza está ya necesitando un descanso
verde, mar, cielo y calorcito...
han sido semanas muy intensas,
de momento me contento con espiar a mi vecina arañita
y oler a romero.

mañana subiré a la tienda un reloj de mentira
que llevo tiempo teniendo ganas de acabar.
un reloj de esos que detienen el tiempo,
mi regalo para estas vacaciones!
