Easter Goodies

hola!
os quería enseñar este librito de motivos antiguos de bordados que compré en una tienda de segunda mano.
podéis calcarlos para aplicarlos en cualquier prenda de ropa o para hacer bolsitas.
si cicláis en las fotos salen ampliadas.
no entiendo porqué el conejito aparece siempre con una escopeta jugando a ser soldado, pero bueno... cosas de aquellos años!
mis preferidos son las ranitas con paraguas y la oca saltando a la comba.

aunque estoy un poco saturada de tanto conejito de pascua,
al final he sucumbido frente a los encantos de algunos de ellos,
así que ahí van algunos links conejeros :)

i wanted to share with you this cute vintage book of embroidery patterns that i found in a secondhand shop.
you can transfer them to any piece of cloth or small pouch and embroider a lovely little friend (click on the images to get them larger)
my favorites are the couple of dotted frogs with umbrellas and the goose jumping rope.
i can't understand why rabbits are playing soldiers with toy guns, maybe this was an ordinary thing at that time!

although these days i've had my fill of rabbits
i've been finally smitten by the charm of some of them,

Taller de Muñecos en Casa Sagnier

hello :)
estas son algunas fotos del taller de muñecos que hicimos el pasado trimestre en Casa Sagnier.

estuvo muy entretenido y del taller salieron cosas chulísimas!
estuvimos probando articulaciones, muñecos hechos con guantes,
diferentes volúmenes, caras, pelos...
mis alumnas Judit, Elsa de desenfoque gaussiano,
Moon de Happy Horn, Begoña de Romero y Juaneta,
Pilar y Vero,
se lo curraron un montón.
lo pasé muy bien :)

así que esta primavera repetiremos taller!
hoy ha empezado el período de inscripciones en Casa Sagnier.
tengo curiosidad por ver qué nuevas criaturas aparecen esta vez!

hello again!
i wanted to share with you some images of one of the last workshops
i arraged at La Galeria de Casa Sagnier.
it was really fun and all the people made cute and lovely little friends,
we learned how to move arms and legs using buttons, to join body pieces,
to make hair and beards using yarns,
to embroider faces...

all the girls: Judit, Elsa from desenfoque gaussiano,
Moon from Happy Horn, Begoña from Romero y Juaneta,
Pilar and Vero worked hard!

it was such a nice course that there'll be another stuffies workshop this spring,
i'll tell you about it later :)

hola! qué tal está yendo el fin de semana?
este lunes empieza el período de inscripciones para los cursos de Casa Sagnier.
yo voy a estrenar nuevo Taller de Bordado,
esta vez aplicado a prendas de ropa y accesorios.
estos son algunos ejemplos que ilustran lo que haremos en el curso.
personalizaremos ropa que tenemos olvidada en el armario,
así que os podréis traer vuestras propias prendas para tunerlas un poco durante la clase :)
chandals, camisetas, jerseys de punto, guantes, bufandas...
incluso pantallas de lámparas, o fundas de sillas y cojines

la idea es aprender a bordar sobre diferentes soportes
ya sea fieltro, lana, mimbre, tejidos peludos o elásticos.
bordaremos añadiendo cuentas, lentejuelas y aplicaciones.
y probaremos también el bordado perforado o de corte,
como el de la foto del vestido de Riley.

hello there! how is your weekend going?
i'm working on a new Embroidery Workshop,
this time we'll customize clothing and accessories.
these images are examples of embroideries and decorations
that we're going to practise :)

the idea is to know how to embroider onto different surfaces
like straw, knit, felt, cotton, furry or elastic materials...

we'll make lovely embroiderings using beads, glitterings and applications.
i'd love to try some simple designs of eyelet holes and buttonhole bars
onto heavy cotton, as the Riley's dress above.
i think that we'll really enjoy this workshop, it can be fun and very useful!
i'll tell you how it's going ;)

this spring will be lots of interesting courses
patchwork and amigurumi by Maelström,
sewing and machine sewing by Caterina Pérez,
crochet by Aviv...
Duduá will arrange workshops on saturdays
and Cristina from Fem Manuals
teach amazing things to children :)
