Shop Update! Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer Ghosts

hola :)

me ha entrado la neura navideña de golpe.
el viernes acabamos el taller de calendarios de adviento que dimos juntas Caterina Pérez y yo,
( ha sido tan guay hacer talleres con ella que le próximo trimestre repetimos!!)
el caso es que ahora tengo un pequeño descanso de talleres en Casa Sagnier
que me irá perfecto para poner un poco al día la tienda.
y llegará por fin un surtido de cosas navideñas!
un poco tarde, pero bueno, qué se le va a hacer,
tengo unas ganas de ponerme a hacer cositas...
de momento he subido a la tienda la versión navideña de mis fantasmitas:
Rudolph, el reno de la narizota roja.
(como  la mía, porque con este frío...
como este año estamos intentando ahorrar con la calefacción
nos ponemos a bailar para entrar en calor, así que la casa es una contínua fiesta! jeje)
siempre me ha encantado este personaje!

bueno, pronto veréis por aquí nuevos enanitos pixies, colgadores y algunos bolsos.
espero que disfrutéis de una feliz semana!

suddenly i've got got Christmas on my mind.
Caterina Pérez and i finished advent calendar's workshop last friday,
( it's been so much fun arranging workshops with her, that there'll be coming more)
so now,  i have a short break perfect to bring my etsy shop up to date.
lots of new stuff coming soon :)
and lots of Christmas themed things.
i know it's a little late... but i'm just diying for making them
and don't want to miss it just because it's out of date ;)
so i've started the shop update with some christmas friendly ghosts:

(it's like my nose with this chilly weather...
we're saving money on heating and we dance to get warm at home,
it's like a non stop party! hehe)

espero que estéis difrutando de este fin de semana,
ya parece que es veranito!
a pesar de tener mucho-mucho trabajo (y que dure!!)
he podido subir a la tienda algunas cositas que tenía hechas de hace tiempo.
fantasmitas primaverales con telas estampadas y colores más vivos.
y la versión mini de los colgantes Miniatures, he añadido dos nuevos modelos:
un corazón solitario y una elefantita.
(voy probando fotos y fondos diferentes porque no me acaban de convencer,
me resulta complicado fotografiar collares)

i've updated my shop with new little things that i made few weeks ago.
Some Spring Friendly Ghosts made with flowered and gingham and brighter colors,
and some tinier Miniatures pendants with two more new models:
a lonely heart and a missy elephant.
(i'm still testing them onto different backgrounds,
photographing necklaces is always hard for me...)

Long long winter & shop updates

la semana pasada añadí algunos fantasmitas
collares y broches nuevos a la tienda.
llevo un tiempo rayada con las fotos que hice
y estas nuevas las he intentado hacer un poquito más de invierno!
el frío empieza a apretar y apetecen las bufandas de lana, guantes mulliditos
y gorros bien gordotes.
(aunque no sé, igual funcionan mejor los primeros planos de sus caritas...
sigo rayada con el tema fotos... no hay remedio!)
..
además de los fantasmitas he preparado el pack de 4 chapitas de
las Dolis y Dolos especial para estas navidades
os acordáis? lo tenía pendiente desde hace tiempo
y ahora por fin está disponible!

por cierto! he descubierto que si queréis estar siempre informadas

some new little friendly ghosts on my shop.
i've been thinking about which kind of images would work best...
so this time I shot some more winter styled ones.
cold weather finally arrived and i fancy woollen scarfs,
cozy gloves, knitted beanies...
(but i still don't know if this set of photos
works better than the old ones... so confusing!)

i've prepared a new set of 4 Dolis y Dolos badges
specially for the holidays, do you remember it?

The Friendly Ghost stand hanger tutorial

cuando llevé los collares y broches de los fantasmitas a Duduá
me di cuenta de que necesitaban algún tipo de expositor especial,
y decidí hacer un fantasmita gigante.
he hecho un mini tutorial para que os podáis hacer uno de éstos vosotras mismas en casa, sólo necesitaréis:
un portarrollos de papel de cocina,
una varilla de madera de 8cm y otra de 22cm más o menos,
una taladradora con broca de agujerear madera,
pistola de silicona caliente, barniz...
yo he añadido un cuello de tutú cuando ya estaba pegada la cabeza
y unas flores de fieltro a las bolas rojas de amigurumi.

a ver si os animáis a hacerlo, es bastante rápido!!
aquí os dejo la foto de la cabeza gigante ya en Duduá bien rodeado de cosas bonitas.

i made this bidheaded stand hanger for displaying my necklaces at Duduá,
a wonderful shop with great diy local and international craft products,
(it's the best and cuttest shop in barcelona)
here's a short tutorial to show you how to do this cute stand hanger in a very easy and simple way! you just need:
a kitchen roll holder, a wooden stick of 3" long another stick of 7",
a drill with a bit for wood, glue gun, varnish..
once the head was glued i've added a tutu collar and felt cut as a flower glued to the red amigurumi.
it's so easy doing... come on! you have to try to make one!!
here is a picture of the display at Duduá shop, surrounded by some other beauties.

hace unos días me enamoré de Serena y Drusilla,
con sus sombreritos puntiagudos.
de ahí salieron las tres brujitas,
de un deseo enorme de recordar esas historias y cuentos,
esos personajes y esos sombreros.
..
ya están en mi tienda y esta semana os las iré presentando una a una.
esta mañana les he estado haciendo un montón de fotos
algunas son super graciosas.
ah! también he subido los tres colgantes de diablillos.
jejeje, espero que os gusten!

my three mischievous witches came out from there,
i felt a strong nostalgia of those tales, characters... and hats.
