estas son las felicitaciones especiales que he preparado para San Valentín,
son unas cometas retro que llevan una cinta bordada por detrás,
al final me han dado más trabajo del que pensaba! :P

sus caritas están todas pintadas a mano,
así que no hay ninguna igual ;)
también he combinado de manera diferente
las telas de detrás y los lacitos de las colas.

he hecho poquitas, 7 en total,
y las iré subiendo estos días a medida que las vaya acabando.
de momento hay estas 2 que ya están subidas a la tienda.

es muy bueno, hay un pulpo que se sale, y piedras de playa con forma de corazón!!

here are my Valentine's greeting cards!
handmade kites with a retro style and
embroidered "Happy Valentine" on the back.

thought it would be a fun Valentine's gift for a loved one,
as i always loved kites i fancied making
something simple and easy...
but finally it took little longer than i expected.

i carefully hand painted their faces,
combined different fabrics for their backs
and chose little bows for their tails in various colors...
so they all are one-of-a-kind :)

i've made a very small bunch, just 7 Valentine's kites,
i'll be adding them to the shop as i finish them.
this lovely pair is already on the shop!

os quiero presentar a Lili la sirenita,
es una versión más simplificada de mi doli sirenita
(rebautizada con el nombre de Luchia)
y que ahora vive feliz con la encantadora Chuculeta con ratón y su familia :)
me gustó tanto (ya os lo debéis imaginar porque ha salido en el calendario y en el último patrón de bordado)
que he querido hacer una serie limitada de cuatro sirenitas,
cada una con un lazo de un color diferente.
así juntitas son super graciosas.
sólo falta la piscina para que bailen una coreografía de Esther Williams.
ya están en la tienda,
espero que os gusten :)

i'd like to introduce you to Lili the Mermaid,
a simplier version of my doli little mermaid,
(who lives happily with the lovely Chuculeta con ratón and her family)
i'm so in love with that doll
( guess you already know it, because i featured her in the calendar and my last embroidery pattern ,)
that i wanted to make a special limited edition of four little mermaids,
each one wearing a bow in a different color.
love how nice they look all together,
they just need a swimmingpool to dance a Esther Williams' choreography!
hope you like them :)

these four sweeties are now on my shop.

los hermanos Amba, Mi, BB y Ogait que llevan el blog Mr. Spoqui
me han hecho una entrevista para el nuevo número
de su revista dedicado a los juegos (a la venta aquí).
han incluído las fotos de los ganadores del concurso de rollos de papel higiénico,
algunos relatos, dibujos, juegos... podéis ver más aquí

también han hecho mi retrato y un mini cómic inspirado en la entrevista!!
les ha salido genial, tienen tanto talento y sentido del humor...
me han hecho sentir como si hubiese sido invitada a su casa a comer un domingo
con toda la familia. tan guay :)

Amba, Mi, BB and Ogait, four lovely brothers who are running Mr. Spoqui blog,
interviewed me on their fabulous Family Magazine's last issue (available here).
including the toilet paper roll contest's winners (love how they look on black and white), brilliant stories, gorgeous drawings, funny games... You can look inside it here too.

they made a great portrait of me and a mini comic book inspired by the interview!!
they have gone great! with so much talent and sense of humor ...
i felt like being invited to their house for a family dinner on Sunday. so nice :)
