madera, agua, gotitas, azul,
amarillo
lleva muchas semanas lloviendo, así que no era de extrañar
que me apeteciese hacer una doli que tenía ya dibujada hace tiempo
y que esperaba su momento:

Sunset party -Doli lettuce

ultimamente llueve tanto que nos pasamos el día en casa

y nos hemos acostumbrado a dar un paseo corto al atardecer,
incluso a veces nos llevamos el termo con el té y nos lo tomamos viendo la puesta del sol. es agradable salir un rato a estirar las piernas, oler a tierra mojada.

por lo visto en nuestra ausencia se montan fiestas secreteas,
y creo que todo es culpa de la nueva:
doli lechuguita (ver su ficha aquí)
me ha salido un pelín cursi y empollona,
creo que no hay nada que hacer...

nuevos descubrimientos: the baby gardner's Baby Bloggie, SuprBo, stickers and stuff con cosas como ésta, Design Dollies sobre scrapbooking, en el que doli atracadora de bancos es una invitada especial (Gracias Heidi :), y también os quería contar que mis dolis y dolos se han colado en Yo Dona y aparecen en la sección Bri-anda-buscando (Gracias Brianda!!!!), esta semana escribe sobre una ilustradora que me ha encantado: Littleisdrawing. gracias también a Nicole de chug cafe por esa bonita nota.

it's stormyin barcelona lately, so we spent the whole day at home and we've started to have a short walk at the afternoon. we even carry a thermo full of hot water to take a cup of tea watching the sunset. it's so peaceful, i love getting out for for a while to stretch my legs, smell the damp forest.

but meanwhile some secret parties have been celebrating aparently in our absence
and i guess if this is all the new doli's fault,
doli lettuce (see her profile here)
she's turned out to be a kind of affected one, a know-all...
what can i do...

Doli Red Apple & Doli Little House - Two Custom orders

hace tiempo me llegó un encargo: una casa y una manzana,
y así han acabado:
doli casita
doli manzanita roja
dos hermanitas bien distintas que partirán muy pronto.
..
estoy acabando nuevas muñecas, muy pronto os presentaré a doli lechuguita!
ah! no os podéis perder la nueva tienda de handmade romance en Etsy,
ojalá nos sorprenda en un futuro con muñecas como ésta,
por el momento sus broches del señor barbudo son mis favoritos!!
y super ninon está de rebajas, habrá que aprovechar!!

y éste es uno de mis calendarios preferidos, no sé si ya lo he posteado antes:
The Golden Calendar - 1956, illustrado por Richard Scarry, mi ilustrador preferido cuando era pequeña, todavía me encantan sus dibujos. este año había pensado en hacer un calendario con mis muñecas Dolis y Dolos, pero creo que ya no llego a tiempo!
bueno, para el año próximo!
espero que este año nuevo se esté portando bien con vosotros.

The Golden Calendar - 1956, illustrated by Richard Scarry my favorite illustrator when i was a child, i still love his illustrations so much... i wanted to create a Dolis y Dolos calendar for this new year but i think it's too late... maybe next year!
