Doli Red Apple & Doli Little House - Two Custom orders

hace tiempo me llegó un encargo: una casa y una manzana,
y así han acabado:
doli casita
doli manzanita roja
dos hermanitas bien distintas que partirán muy pronto.
..
estoy acabando nuevas muñecas, muy pronto os presentaré a doli lechuguita!
ah! no os podéis perder la nueva tienda de handmade romance en Etsy,
ojalá nos sorprenda en un futuro con muñecas como ésta,
por el momento sus broches del señor barbudo son mis favoritos!!
y super ninon está de rebajas, habrá que aprovechar!!

i'm finishing some new dolls, doli little lettuce will appear very soon!

The Golden Calendar - 1956, illustrado por Richard Scarry, mi ilustrador preferido cuando era pequeña, todavía me encantan sus dibujos. este año había pensado en hacer un calendario con mis muñecas Dolis y Dolos, pero creo que ya no llego a tiempo!
bueno, para el año próximo!

The Golden Calendar - 1956, illustrated by Richard Scarry my favorite illustrator when i was a child, i still love his illustrations so much... i wanted to create a Dolis y Dolos calendar for this new year but i think it's too late... maybe next year!

Paint it colors- Happy 2010

hace unas semanas llegó una de las compras que hice en Etsy,
(en esta tienda, variation, que me tiene robado el corazón)
una muñequita-colgante hecha con cuentas, es tan pequeñita y bonita...
además con las figuritas y adornos que habían de regalo,
he hecho un collar que me pondré para celebrar el Año Nuevo,
es como un collar mágico lleno de colores y dorados!

la foto de los dibujitos es de mis nuevos adhesivos coloreados,
la tetera, la cafeterita y una elefantita con sombrero
acompañan los paquetes que voy enviando últimamente,
espero que el próximo año llenen de felicidad muchas casas :)
one of my Etsy orders arrived some weeks ago,
( i'm smitten by this brilliant Etsy shop called variation)
a cute mini doll pendant made with sweet beads, so small and lovely....
i also made myself a necklace with some of the freebies included in the parcel, just for New Year's Eve supper, it's something like a shiny magical necklace!

all the packages shipped lately are decorated with some of my new stickers,
a kettle, a little coffeepot and a little elephant girl with a black hat.
wish they bring lots of smiles to your homes for the next year too :)

Christmas Giveaway 'Embroidery Pattern nº2 Doli Coffeepot with Little Brown Sugar Cubes'

por fin! aquí está vuestro regalo de navidad! mi segundo patrón bordado,
la encantadora y humeante doli cafeterita acompañada por sus tres amiguitos, los terroncillos de azúcar moreno!! os lo podéis descargar desde aquí, espero que os guste y lo disfrutéis :)
igual véis algunos puntos raritos en los azucaritos y en otros detalles porque algunos de esos puntos que he utilizado son una combinación de punto atrás y punto de sujeción, para conseguir líneas curvas más suaves. no me había dado cuenta de que ya ha pasado un año
desde que posteé mi otro patrón de la teterita.

os paso los links de algunas cosas preciosas que he encontrado en internet, monísimas tarjetitas de regalo de Bukubuku, Orange you Lucky e Inside a Black Apple y las decoraciones con motivos navideños de Lori Joy Smith. ah!! y no os perdáis el super concurso de encore petite!!
hoy me toca pasarme toda la tarde envolviendo regalitos, siempre espero hasta el último momento para este tipo de cosas...

here is my christmas present for you, the second embroidery pattern,
a lovely piping hot coffeepot with her three little brown sugar cubes friends!i'm sorry because there is one year left from my old free embroidery pattern...
hope you enjoy this one too :) you can download it from here,
maybe you'll notice that there're some odd stitches that i've used on the little sugar cubes, i've combined back stitches and couching to achieve smoother curves

las cosas está movidillas estos días, supongo que a todas nos pasa lo mismo... pero al menos he conseguido acabar esta doli vaquerita a tiempo para desearos una feliz navidad. espero que paséis unas felices fiestas!! con mucho chocolate caliente, turrones, una chimenea calentita, mucha nieve... y gente querida :)

hacía tiempo que no me lo pasaba tan bien,
lo mejor de todo fue la gente tan encantadora que había allí.
