tengo muchísimas ganas de que llegue el domingo,
acabo de encontrar el trabajo de Janice Jakielski via Mr X Stitch
la entrevista es muy interesante
(pasaros por ahí para ver verdaderas maravillas de bordados
y no os perdáis tampoco feeling stitchy)
no tengo palabras para describir su trabajo.
me encanta esa mezcla de pasado y futuro,
esas poderosas masas de color y esos sutiles detalles.

me muero por probar bordados con texturas, volúmenes, materiales, colores...
en el taller del domingo jugaremos con madera, cartón, telas, papel, cintas...
iré cargada de soportes para ponernos a investigar y trabajaremos el bordado de una manera más experimental, inspirados por esta gran artista y por todas estas cosas maravilosas que circulan por la red, además contaremos con un montón de hilos, lanillas, bastidores...
que nos regala DMC.
os apuntáis a la fiesta? ;)

New Clocks WORKSHOP. Taller de Relojes de Pared

lo dicho, no me da tiempo de nada.
todavía tengo pendientes las fotos de París, las de la expo de Mogu y del taller que hicimos las dos juntas este sábado....
y nada, aquí estoy anuniando el nuevo taller que haré este domingo en Duduá
Taller de RELOJES de PARED
con trapo, con planchas de madera y técnicas mixtas, lanas, telas...
os enseñaré algún otro reloj que tengo por aquí para que veáis qué es lo que podremos hacer este domingo.
Gabi, Mogu y yo hemos estado haciendo un poco el tonto,
he estado en casa con un poco de gripe y
montamos un taller provisional en el comedor.

i said that that things happen really fast lately, as fast that i just can live them.
there're still photos of Paris waiting to be posted, the exhibition of Mogu at Duduá and last saturday workshop that Mogu and me holded together.
and here i am, telling you the new workshop i've prepared for next Sunday at Duduá
My CLOCK Workshop
(real clocks, no more fake watches for the moment :)
we'll create them using fabrics, wood, yarns... cool mixed media
i'll show you some different clocks that i have made just to explain a little bit more what we'll be doing next Sunday.
Gabi, Mogu and i set up a temporary workshop in the dining room, so we played a little.

WORKING VERY HARD
estamos apurando hasta el último minuto para dejar todo listo para la inauguración de Mogu.
(toxogirl las fotos de París vendrán pronto ;)
ahora nos vamos a dormir y descansar un poco.
mañana os esperamos a todos a las 8 de la tarde en Duduá.
ya quedan poquitas plazas para el taller de muñecos del sábado
y del taller de cocina japonesa del domingo!
tengo unas ganas!!!

viernes 8 de octubre inauguración de la expo: "Mr. Mellowman"
con proyecciones de sus animaciones y la música de su grupo OTOFU

9 de octubre
Taller de Onigiris de trapo a cargo de Mogu y yo

10 de octubre Taller de cocina japonesa:
Mogu nos enseñará a hacer Onigiris de verdad (con arroz)
la exposición estará abierta hasta el 22 de octubre.

hay tantas notícias estos días... ha salido el número 2 de la revista La petite, el nuevo libro para colorear de Lili Scratchy, el libro Mr. Moustache de Studio Violet, Ninon ha abierto su tienda vintage de cerámicas retro, y... mirad la preciosísima teterita que ha bordado covi, siguiendo mi patrón y las indicaciones de los enlaces con los tutoriales de bordado.

parece que la vida va demasiado deprisa o yo muy lenta contando las cosas.

There is so many news these days ... issue 2 of La petite magazine has come out, the NEW Colouring BOOK of Lili Scratchy, the book Mr. Moustache by Studio Violet, Ninon has opened a wonderful vintage ceramics online shop, and... look at the lovely doli kettle that Covi embroidered following my pattern and links about embroidery tutorials.

i feel that life is too fast for me or i'm too slow telling things... (it could be this)
in the next post there will be a little bit of our short vistit to Paris, it has been a very intense and beautiful trip.
and our french colleagues are so lovely and charming!

por fin tengo una pieza de Lili Scratchy, soy tan fan de ella!!!
hacía tanto que quería tener algo suyo...
sus personajes son aún más bonitos en persona,
y lo mejor es que llegó acompañado de una niñita hecha por su hija Lison,
el tote de..., y postales!
entre ellas la que han hecho junto con Mogu Takahashi.

la semana que viene Gabi y yo iremos a París
y estaremos con Lili, Mogu, Gini, Delphine, Chamo...
en la inauguración de la exposición de Mogu.
va a ser una fiesta!
será la primera vez que algunas nos conozcamos en persona.
uff! el mes de octubre va a estar cargadito de sorpresas,

hace unas semanas recibí un paquete lleno de sorpresas,
me hizo tan feliz!
Missy es una de las indie crafters más auténticas que he conocido,
ser crafter es un modo de vida, no es sólo hacer cositas a mano
y Missy es una buena prueba de ello.
asomarme al blog de Missy, descubrir sus fanzines y todo lo que hace
es como recuperar un poco del movimiendo indie de los noventa que siempre me ha gustado.
me he reído tanto leyendo sus fanzines...
Missy vive en Athens con Raoul de la Cruz, su gatita Nilla y un conejito llamado Oreo
todo lo que hace tiene un encanto especial.
casi no me he quitado su colgante de galleta,

a few weeks ago i received a package full of surprises,
i was so thrilled!!
Missy is one of the most authentic indie crafters i've met,
being a crafter is a way of life, not only making handmade stuff, and Missy is a god example of it.
browsing Missy's blog, discovering her zines and cute stuff
makes a spanish girl like me remebering all that indie movement from the nineties that i've always loved.
lots of laughs reading her funny zines,
Missy lives happily with Raoul de la Cruz and her kitty Nilla in Athens,
all her creations have a special charm, i've been wearing her biscuit pendant all these days
the acorn clips, the red felted cookie pin... and what about this unicorn?
so beautiful!
