Superfood Balls!

we are addicted  to these amazing and yummy
Raw Superfood Energy Balls at home.
a perfect and healthy snack.
this recipe is yummy, raw, vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free and dairy-free,
no-bake and super fast and easy to make (5 minutes!)
i'm in love!

here is my ecipe, inspired on this one
i used carob, replaced dates for dry figs (soaked),
added pumpkin seeds,
(you can change them for your favorite nuts)
and got rid of coconut.
maca powder for me is optional,
and i sometimes add some sesame seeds
i soak all the nuts during the night before
and dried them a little before processing.

here is the recipe for these Energetic Raw Balls:
1/3 cup raw walnuts

1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1/4 cup raw almonds
1/4 cup chia seeds
1 cup pitted dry figs (soaked), (about 7 big figs)
1/2 cup almond flour
1/3 cup carob powder (sub cocoa or cacao powder)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp maca powder
2 tbsp water

Combine all ingredients into a food processor and process
until well combined and crumbly.
Roll into balls.
here is the original recipe
here is another recipe that look yummy and healthy too:
Crunchy Raw Protein Balls
and these from my Pinterest too: lemon or ginger balls

you you enjoy them as much as we do :)
happy week!!

feliz semana!!

LOVE energy balls! I eat way too many of them at my desk.
Yours sound scrumptious, and I like the idea of soaking the nuts first (I always practically kill my food processor trying to grind the nuts). Your little man is the perfect model! Love his shorts and purple shoes :)

Hi Eva! I use coconut, raw cacao, coconut oil, dates, prunes, sunflower seeds and whatever else I can lay my hands on! I keep them in the freezer to stop myself from eating them all at once! Definitely trying your recipe next time. My recipe is here:
Happy week to you too! xx
