Le Petit Pot es un nuevo proyecto de mi amiga natalia y yo he tenido la gran suerte de poder colaborar con este logo! (creo que le va como anillo al dedo!! ya se lo ha hecho suyo en todos sus packagings) espero que ella y estos potitos pasen muchas aventuras juntos. le deseo la mejor suerte del mundo, aunque con su talento no creo que la vaya a necesitar mucho... .. todavía anda preparando cosas, pero ya se puede ver algo en su blog. cositas preciosas, ingeniosas, cuidadas y con una presentación impecable, no os podéis perder su tutorial del calendario de adviento. pasar a decirle hola, que seguro que estará encantada :) a cute logo for the lovely new project of my dear friend natalia! bienvenidos a la Fira de Tardor de Cerdanyola! Las Costureras (emedemarta, Le Petit Pot, Maelström y yo) estuvimos un fin de semana entero aguantando frío, viento, unas gotitas amenazadoras de lluvia... día y noche. fue largo, tan largo como este post! estuvimos preparándolo casi toda la semana y seguimos arreglándolo todo también durante esos dos días. el sábado empezamos a creer que éramos invisibles, la gente ni se paraba... era mi primera feria y también la de Le Petit Pot y Maelström, y fue la cosa más rara del mundo... por suerte fuimos muy bien preparadas y nos llevamos un super termo con agua caliente, no paramos de hacernos tés y de comer en todo el día cosas de los puestos ambulantes. éramos como extraterrestres en medio de puestos de collares hippies y de las paradas de la fira medieval de artesanía. la única paradita que tenía algo que ver con nosotras era La magdalena de Proust que hacían camisetas, baberitos, bambitas... pintadas a mano super bonitas y estaban cerquita nuestro.
estuvieron por allí nuestros respectivos y sufridos novios apoyándonos en silencio, y amigas como silvia, la ballena elena y sietedelonce que hicieron más agradables las jornadas! (por suerte!)
así que acabamos la feria contentas de haber llegado hasta el final y haber soportado estoicamente esos dos días, contentas con tenernos como amigas y haber compartido esos momentos! bueno, echamos muchísimo de menos a Maelström que el domingo no pudo estar con nosotras! aquí le dejo, y os dejo, un poquito de nuestro momento final de alegría al sentirnos libres y haber desmontado la paradita. en exclusiva dj veterano, el broche final para un fin de semana de lo más surrealista!!
Las Costureras ((emedemarta, Le Petit Pot, Maelström and me) spent a whole weekend standing cold weather, rushes of wind and a little of light rain, day and night. a too long and odd weekend. we prepared all the stuff for the stand the previous week, it was a very exciting and hard working time, and we kept on getting the little stand ready for the whole two days. on saturday we start thinking we were invisible... it was my first fair and for Le Petit Pot and Maelström too, so a strange experience... luckily we were well-equipped bunch and we carried with us a huge vacuum flask full of hot water, so we enjoy hot tea and yummy cakes from the other stalls. there was just a little cool stand not very far from us, La magdalena de Proust who handpainted lovely t-shirts and baby bibs designs.
we felt really happy at the end of the day when we took apart all the stuff and we went to celebrate this strange experience at the main marquee. another surrealist moment to add at the list of the day!
.. yo de mayor no sé lo que quiero ser, pero sé que no seré ferianta. al menos de por aquí. me gustan las ferias y los mercadillos que organizan en los estados unidos, en londres o en parís? parece que en barcelona vamos a tener por fin un mercadillo o miniferia como dios manda: el Festivalet ese no me lo voy a perder, pero iré como visitante-cliente :)
adoro internet y mi tienda online. estar calentita en casa, con una taza de té o chocolate caliente. conocer gente que comparte los mismos gustos que yo, despertarme y encontrar el aviso de una venta en el mail! aunque no ocurre muy a menudo... alguna vez pasa!! y entonces es genial!! . *Gracias a Marcela G por ese bonito post! y a emedemarta por esas fotos de mí arreglando la paradita!! . espero que paséis un feliz fin de semana :) i just don't know what i want to be when i grow up, but i know that i don't want to be a stallholder, not this kind of stallholder.... i love the renegade craft fair, those arts&crafts flea markets at london or paris... and Festivalet: Barcelona's very first cool handmade fair. we've been waiting for something like this for so long... so many great artists!! i won't miss it!!
i love online shops, staying at home with a hot cup of tea or a chocolate, waking up in the morning with a new sale on the mail, it doesn't happens very often, but when it happens it's the best!! . *Thanks Marcela G for this lovely post!! i appreciate it :) . have a nice weekend!

últimamente no he parado de hacer cosas!
tenía muchas ganas de hablaros sobre el taller que Alicia de Duduá y yo hemos preparado para finales de mes, se trata de un taller de muñecos
hechos con guantes, justo ayer acabé el cartel!!
ya llevo un tiempo buscando como una loca guantes de colores, de rayas...
(os tengo que enseñar mi colección particular)
la verdad es que me ha gustado experimentar con el género de punto.
es muy agradecido, en un momento tienes un cuerpecito
que puedes moldear a tu gusto añadiendo más o menos relleno,
al ser elástico consigues crear formas totalmente
diferentes a partir de un mismo patrón.
estoy super contenta porque las ardillitas se mantienen
en pie gracias a su enorme cola! y por fin he encontrado un cuerpecito ideal para las bambas que hice en verano con los moldes caseros.
esas eran unas de mis cuentas pendientes que estoy empezando a solucionar!

el taller promete bastante!
construiremos muñequitos utilizando unos simples guantes,
y diseñaremos algunos adornos
y accesorios de fieltro, crochet... para ponerlos bien guapos.
va a ser mi primer taller así que será divertido!

feliz jueves! :) it's been so long since my last post! this week it's a little less busy and i have several things here waiting to be posted, lately i've being really hard-working :) i was dying for telling you about the workshop that Alicia of Duduá and me are preparing. it's going to be about creating soft toys from knitted gloves, i finished the poster yesterday! we'll design some accessories too, hats, berets... just to make them look cute! so many days looking for lovely and funny gloves, i love them! i have to show you my personal collection! thanks to this workshop i've discovered that i love knitten material, you can create a cute little body so easily, molding it as you want just playing with the filling, it's so elastic that you can build different shapes using the same pattern.
i enjoyed the fact that these squirrels can stand by themselves, their big tails help it! and i've found the perfect body for my little sneakers that i molded last summer.
i'm really excited about doing this workshop, it's going to be my first one! so it's going to be lovely, funny, crazy... and a very special day for me! send an email to Duduá to join us. .. *Thank you Alicia for featuring my little ghosts on H magazine (you can have a look here) and thank you so much kathreen for posting my work on Whip Up, here is the interview :) next post featuring our weekend at the Autum Festival of Cerdanyola is coming soon! have a very nice thursday!! :)
el otro día recibimos la revista cents con uno de los últimos trabajos de Gabi, quedó muy bien! es una revista pequeñita de unos 20cm, me encanta ese tamaño. dentro de nada acabaré su web, la tengo a medias desde hace varias semanas... .. la semana pasa tan rápido... ya es jueves! os paso los links de algunas cosas bonitas que me he encontrado por ahí, a disfrutar! last week arrived cents magazine with Gabriel's work on the cover, it was great, so small magazine... about 8", i love its size! i'm finishing the design of his new wedsite, i'm still working on it from two or three weeks ago... .. time goes so fast! it's thursday, here are some of my new lovely findings, enjoy!

cuando llevé los collares y broches de los fantasmitas a Duduá me di cuenta de que necesitaban algún tipo de expositor especial, y decidí hacer un fantasmita gigante. he hecho un mini tutorial para que os podáis hacer uno de éstos vosotras mismas en casa, sólo necesitaréis: un portarrollos de papel de cocina, una varilla de madera de 8cm y otra de 22cm más o menos, una taladradora con broca de agujerear madera, pistola de silicona caliente, barniz... yo he añadido un cuello de tutú cuando ya estaba pegada la cabeza y unas flores de fieltro a las bolas rojas de amigurumi.
a ver si os animáis a hacerlo, es bastante rápido!! aquí os dejo la foto de la cabeza gigante ya en Duduá bien rodeado de cosas bonitas.
Gracias por vuestros comentarios, mis brujitas estás encantadas con tanto halago!! :) feliz fin de semana! .. i made this bidheaded stand hanger for displaying my necklaces at Duduá, a wonderful shop with great diy local and international craft products, (it's the best and cuttest shop in barcelona) here's a short tutorial to show you how to do this cute stand hanger in a very easy and simple way! you just need: a kitchen roll holder, a wooden stick of 3" long another stick of 7", a drill with a bit for wood, glue gun, varnish.. once the head was glued i've added a tutu collar and felt cut as a flower glued to the red amigurumi. it's so easy doing... come on! you have to try to make one!! here is a picture of the display at Duduá shop, surrounded by some other beauties.
