SHOP UPDATE! Hippie Yellow Lions

hola :)
acabo de subir dos muñecos nuevos a la tienda,
lo del pelo de lana y las trenzas me está dando mucho juego!
es tan setentas y tan gracioso...
estos dos son mis leones hippies amarillos,
un chico y una chica.
estoy terminando algunas cosas que empecé hace ya tiempo para vender en la tienda,
esta semana seguiré subiendo y posteando las novedades!

estoy muy contenta,
hoy ha salido una entrevista mía en el blog italiano Vendetta Uncinetta de Gaia Segattini,
(Gaia tiene también una tienda en Etsy, de cosas muy chulas hechas a mano: Gaia SeiGattini)
echar un vistazo al blog, está muy bien!
así veréis lo animado que está el panorama craft en italia ;)

i just updated the shop,
i've really happy making new stuff using this kind of wool yarn hair and braids,
it's so 70s and fun!
these two little fellows are my Hippie Yellow Lions,
a boy and a girl.
i'm finishing alot of new things for the shop,
i'll be blogging about them during the week!

i'm very happy also because the italian blog Vendetta Uncinetta by Gaia Segattini
(who also runs an Etsy shop full of beautiful handmade stuff: Gaia SeiGattini)
has posted today a interview about Misako Mimoko.
this is a very interesting blog about crafts,
great to know what italian crafters are making lately!

ha pasado tanto tiempo desde que subí las últimas muñecas
que algunas de las que tenía que subir a la tienda han partido ya.
otras se quedan por aquí haciéndonos compañía
(y también para participar en nuevos proyectos)
así que tan sólo una parejita: doli limón y dolo señor tranchette
están disponibles en la tienda.
pero como ahora tengo más tiempo las próximas semanas
habrán más novedades en la tienda!
de momento os presento también a doli arbol de invierno, aunque ya tenga dueña :)
estos días os iré enseñando las muñecas que he ido haciendo,
aunque no vayan a estar en la tienda.

el domingo estuvimos en el festivalet y pusimos cara a un montón de gente.
estuvo genial, cada vez está mejor!!
pero esos os lo contaré otro día :)

it's been so long since i uploaded the latest dolls
some of the new ones are already gone.
others will stay with us for a while
(and also for participating on new projects)
so just a lovely couple: doli lemon and dolo monsieur tranchette
are now available on the shop.
but there will more dolls soon, just keep up to date ;)

i also wanted to introduce you to doli winter tree, even she already has a very good friend waiting for her :)
these days i will be posting several dolls i've been making lately, although they are not going to be for sale, we want to play a little with them at home :)

we went to the festivalet this last weekend and we met a lot of internet friends.
it was great, more than ever!
but i'll tell about it another day :)

llevo un fin de semana muy movidito,

Shop updated

el martes acompañé a mi madre al aeropuerto,
era un viaje de esos del inserso y la cola de gente mayor
era una larga línea en medio de una enorme sala.
todavía no había estado en la nueva terminal del aeropuerto,
y me chocó ver esas figuras dentro de un espacio tan moderno,
parecían fuera de contexto.
era tan curioso como el hecho de que volasen en un día tan gris a Tenerife
en busca del sol y del calor del carnaval.
justo al lado de la nueva terminal se veía la antigua torre de control,
con un diseño muy de los años 50s,
viejecita,
no sé lo que van a hacer con esa torre,
igual se libran de ella porque desentona.
aquí en barcelona todo está en proceso de lifting
todo tiene que ser nuevo, ser de diseño y estar a la última.
quizás por eso mis muñecas se van siempre tan lejos.
..
por fin he subido las muñecas a la tienda :)
aunque la lechuguita y la bombillita están reservadas.
si clicáis sobre las miniaturas iréis directamente a la tienda.

last tuesday i took my mother to the airport,
it was a seniors package tour and the long line
they all formed was just in the middle of that huge hall.
it was my first time at this new terminal, it's so cold and new,
those figures in such a new fashioned designed place shocked me,
the were absolutely out of context.
it was so odd as the fact that they were flying to Canary Islands
looking for sunlight and carnival warmth on a rainny day.
next to this place there's the old control tower,
a 50s styled buiding,
i don't know what are going to do about it,
maybe getting ride of it because it's "so old-fashioned"
and it's out of place.
everything's in facelift process here in barcelona
all has to be new, trendy...
maybe is beacause of this that my little dolls fly always so far away.
..
the shop's finally updated :)
