Aprons & Flowers

this summer i got a vintage apron
with a big pocket.
very simple, cute and really useful
while sewing my dolls.

daisy and prickly pear flower,i guess they also want to have an apron like this.

este verano me compré un delantal antiguo
con un bolsillo enorme.
super simple, bonito y realmente práctico
mientras coso las muñecas.

margarita y flor de chumbera,
creo que ellas también quieren un delantal así.
su juego favorito:

jugar a estar plantadas.

Making, Unmaking and Remaking my Cornflower's face

got some troubles while embroidering the lovely cornflower pistil-nose
it was good at the beginning but then i made a too complicated
and baroque embroidery...
that was the original idea but that "thing" didn't suit my poor little doll,
she doesn't deserve this pretentious and huge nose...
so after testing other different beaded stitches
i decided to cut off all that excess of embellishment and threads
and leave a pretty and small furry nose.
i'll keep removing all the rest of stitches to clean up her lovely face.
you'll see her soon with a new and clean smiling face :)
these dolls are too good,
they allow me making so many horrible things to them
without complaining at all,
it looks as they even enjoy it...

estoy teniendo algunos problemas con la nariz-pistilo de mi flor celeste,
o aciano, o azulejo, todavía no sé qué variante se quedará en castellano.
su nombre en inglés es más bonito.
flor celeste no está mal :)
el caso es que empecé bien pero luego me compliqué demasiado,
haciéndole un pedazo nariz barroca que le queda como un pegote.
creo que la pobrecita no se merece una nariz así...
hice otras pruebas con bolitas para adornas la cara,
pero al final decidí cortarle todo ese exceso de hilos y decoración
para limpiarle la carita y dejarle una nariz más graciosa,
un poco peludita.
la verás pronto con una carita nueva limpita y sonriente :)
estas muñecas son demasiado buenas,
me dejan hacerles tantas aberraciones,
parece incluso que disfrutan con ello...

Vintage Florals & Blueberry Scones

got some new treasures :)
obsessed with flowers, floral patterns...
 and also with baking
this time i've tried this blueberry scones recipe,
adapting it to blackberries ;)
and using rye flour.
rye bakes aren't so pretty but really yummy and healthier!

encontré nuevos tesoritos,
obsesionada con las flores, los estampados florales
y también por la repostería
esta vez he probado esta receta de scones con arándanos
que he cambiado por moras y por harina de centeno,
con el centeno todo queda menos bonito pero está igual o más bueno,
y más sano ;)

New pants for Doli Borage

got some issues while making pants for my wildflower dolls,
all look good in they pants
but doli borage is a little bit big for her tiny pants...
or those pants are too small for this voluptuous body.
i try hard to fit them but they got finally broken,
this kind of things only happens to flirty girls!
let's sew new custom-fitting pants :)

he tenido algunos problemillas haciendo los pantalones para mis flores silvestres,
todas están geniales con sus pantaloncitos pero
doli borraja es un pelín demasiado grande
para esos pantaloncillos tan diminutos...
o esos pantaloncillos son demasiado pequeñitos para ese cuerpo serrano.
he sudado intentado ponérselos pero al final los he roto,
estas cosas sólo les pasan a las chicas presumidas!
tendremos que coserles unos pantalones nuevos a medida :)

More august surprises / Sprained ankle + Wildflower Dolls

hello there!
so happy august is ending now... hope september goes better.
did you remember i got a broken finger?
one week later got a sprained ankle!
i couldn't believe how silly it was... i was walking down stairs.
i've been ten days in repose and it looks it will take four weeks more.
yesterday i got this amazing orthopedic boot,
in a beautiful blue neoprene, i feel like robocop!
love it.
these sweeties, the wildflowers dolls that i'm making
keep my fingers and head busy.
i'm just sewing their pants :)
happy to have some quiet time at home.
gabriel took the worse role of the game,
because these days he's my nurse and manservant.
poor dear...

oh! fruit hooks were quickly sold out!!

hola!
estoy tan contenta de que se acabe agosto... espero que septimebre sea mejor.
os acordáis de que merompí un dedo de la mano?
pues a la semana siguiente me torcí el tobillo a lo bestia bajando unas escaleras.
una caída tan tonta...
me hice un esguince muy heavy, porque me dijeron que estuviera en reposo diez días y ahora me dícen que son seis semanas.
además me han dicho que lleve una bota ortopédica, que hace lo mismo que el yeso
pero es más guay y mucho más cómodo.
así ya me puedo mover mejor por casa y no tengo el pie por ahí a la virulé.
me siento como ropbocop, es de neopreno azul super chula.

estoy haciendo estas muñecas que serán florecillas silvestres,
así al menos, me siento en el balcón y me da el aire.
se está bien en casa,
gabi se ha llevado la peor parte porque es mi enfermero y criado,
pobre, le tengo frito...

ah! las frutas perchero se vendieron super rápidas!!
me hizo sentir super afortunada!!
