de mis escapadas al parque con las muñecas a medio hacer!
úlimamente la cosa va de frutos secos :)

Making Flowers for a dry Land

i wanted to show you some pics of what
and where i have been working on lately.
been going outside with my dolls very often,
making and embroidering all my wildflowers in the park,
a small hill with amazing views,
quiet and warm,
enjoying the sunlight.
it's really hard for me working at home making dolls in winter,
there's not natural light enough to enjoy stitching.
so i decided to go out looking for some beautiful light
that warms my mind and my heart.
i love to feel fresh air, hear the sound of the wind through the leaves,
birds...

it's really nice being outside,
it seems that winter didn't come to visit barcelona this year,
no cold, no clouds...
no rain!
the city is experiences its longer dry spell in over 100 years,
it doesn't rain from the last 95 days!
we've reached the last record
1928 was the longest period without rain (85 days).
it's sad to see the land so dry,
no green and a lot of dust and pollution.

so i'm very proud and happy to make flowers,
even they are just dolls,
to color this place.
been watering and taking care of my wildflowers,
so they look pretty before i list them on the shop.

quería enseñaros algunas fotos de lo que he estado haciendo últimamente
y dónde lo he estado haciendo.
he estado saliendo bastante a la montaña que hay al lado de casa
para hacer las flores,
he estado bordándolas disfrutando del buen tiempo y de las vistas.
necesito luz natural, notar el aire, escuchar el sonido de las hojas y los árboles, los pajaritos...
se me hace imposible coser en casa durante el invierno,
hay tan poca luz natural...
y estos días se está tan bien fuera de casa!

este año parece que el invierno se ha olvidado de pasar por aquí,
el invierno y la lluvia.
es una pasada! hemos batido el récord de 1928 de 85 días sin llover,
ya vamos por el día 96.
es un poco triste ver el paisaje tan seco,
con tanto polvo y contaminación.

así que estoy muy contenta y orgullosa de estar haciendo flores,
aunque sean muñecas,
para alegrar un poco el lugar.
las he estado regando y cuidando
para que estén bien bonitas cuando las suba a la tienda.

Making Christmas Teenagers Wall hooks

me lo estoy pasando la mar de bien haciendo bordando los granitos
 de estos adolescentes! serán unos colgadores muy graciosos.
espero tenerlos para estas navidades!

New pants for Doli Borage

got some issues while making pants for my wildflower dolls,
all look good in they pants
but doli borage is a little bit big for her tiny pants...
or those pants are too small for this voluptuous body.
i try hard to fit them but they got finally broken,
this kind of things only happens to flirty girls!
let's sew new custom-fitting pants :)

he tenido algunos problemillas haciendo los pantalones para mis flores silvestres,
todas están geniales con sus pantaloncitos pero
doli borraja es un pelín demasiado grande
para esos pantaloncillos tan diminutos...
o esos pantaloncillos son demasiado pequeñitos para ese cuerpo serrano.
he sudado intentado ponérselos pero al final los he roto,
estas cosas sólo les pasan a las chicas presumidas!
tendremos que coserles unos pantalones nuevos a medida :)

Making Bat Monsters and Updating the Shop with Elves stuff.

hello! i've beenreally busy these days updating the shop,
passing long time in front computer and starting to get cold,
weather is a little bit crazy...
it was really chilly few days ago and now summer time again.
i felt warm and cozy using my old crocheted mittens
and a cup of cool mint, my favorite after-lunch herbal tea,
with yummy licorice and apple.
(i tasted one day at the nice RollitoAsí shop opening,
a yummy discovering!!)

i'm still working in some furry bat monsters,
they laugh at me while i sew them... hope to finish them soon.

and... yes!
i finally listed the new Christmas Elves prints yesterday,
the 2014 calendar, knee hugger paper dolls and gift tags.
and i listed also a special pack including all the things
available for Pre-Order on the shop now!
(shipped in early NOVEMBER)
 i've been planning some wonderland themed holidays for you ;)

hola!! uff! llevo unos cuantos días pegada al ordenador preparando la actualización de la tienda.
el tiempo está un poco loco porque yo ya he empezado a tener frío,
y de nuevo ha vuelto el calor...
pero bueno, saqué mis mitones de ganchillo y con las infusiones de unas hierbas nuevas que tengo, se llaman Cool Mint, son de regaliz y manzana,
y después de comer sientan como una bendición del cielo :)
las probé un día que fuimos a la tienda RollitoAsí,
me ofrecieron un poquito para probar y caí rendida!

estoy acabando también unos monstruitos murciélagos,
que se van riendo de mí mientras los coso, a ver si me doy prisa y los termino pronto.

y... por fin ayer fui subiendo todas las cosas impresas de los enanitos,
está casi todo, pero entre hoy y mañana iré subiendo algunas cosas más antiguas que tenía por ahí olviadas.
he subido un pack de todo lo nuevo, que espero que os guste,
contiene el calendario, los enanitos de papel y un paquete de etiquetas de regalo.
así podréis disfrutar de unas navidades rodaeadas de las criaturas del bosque!
recordad que está todo disponible como para pedido/reservas,
lo enviaré a principios de Noviembre.

hi:)
i've been busy with some orders from the shop,
no money either orders for screenprinting them...
i hand paint them so there's an original drawing on each tote bag,
i love painting this kettle :)
small bags and cases have been more popular lately
and the red square design is sold out.
black circle braided girl is waiting patiently at the shop
looking for a new home.

he estado haciendo algunos pedidos de la tienda,
como no hay dinero ni suficientes ventas como para hacer serigrafías...
las pinto a mano, así que hay un dibujo original en cada unos de esos totes,
me encanta pintar esta tetera :)

los bolsitos y fundas han tenido éxito últimamente
y el diseño con el cuadrado rojo se ha agotado.
la chica de las trenzas espera paciente en la tienda
buscando su nuevo hogar.
