carefully handcrafted, hand-embroidered, patched, and mended.
Made with my favorite vintage materials:
old thrift fabrics, linen, wool, faux fur, and felt.
Carefully embroidered face, with an embroidered sleeping face on the back. 
 ✨
 their bodies are decorated with some frayed patchwork

and stitched in a Sashiko and Boro style.
Their wooly hair is gathered in two messy ponytails and braids
with stitched bangs in a different color.

Meet Carmen, my new One-of-a-kind red handbag featuring 

a Poppy Flower Doll Face with vintage Handles.

“I knew I had to make some beautiful bags with that lovely Red mesh fabric I found in summer. It reminds me of the old Spanish window lattices, carnations, and poppy flowers… It matched perfectly with the cream vintage handles that I kept from a long ago. Poppy flower dolls cheered it up with her smiling faces and then… I realized that Carmen as the best name for this very limited and unique collection.”

These are the two mini tote bags I made from a beautiful red mesh, 

a cute lightweight fabric that is also sturdy and resistant. 

I sewed and assembled it, it's reinforced with double seams. 

They both come with two round comfortable vintage plastic handles 

in a cream/bone white color.

Used some Black Velvet and Felt, 

as petals, 

to decorate the embroidered Poppy flowers 

Perfect for everyday essentials. 

You can carry a wallet, phone, make-up, keys… 

for city walks and nights out. 

for any crafter or sewing enthusiast.

They make an original and cute gift.

One Of a Kind Kiss Lock Clutch Bag with Beads and Golden Chain


A collection of girly vintage Art Bags inspired by Big Eye dolls and Twiggy, featuring a very sixties doll face stitched on the front and two legs hanging from the bottom bag.


Besides holding the essentials to go for an evening walk as a small phone, keys, lipstick, coins purse… And as the collection name says, these mini bags are created to keep all your little secrets, thoughts, or wishes.
There’s an inside pocket containing a blank notecard for filling in with secrets, and another notecard for you to choose from different occasions: Happy Birthday, Happy Xmas, or a Love greeting card.
They made the cutest envelope for sending a love message or the most original greeting!
It will be a really cute handmade unique and personalized gift.

This small clutch purse is made from gingham silk fabrics and faux fur legs. I added a vintage-styled plastic frame with sewing holes and clip clasp, it was hand sewn by me directly to the bag.
 It comes with a fancy golden metal chain and plastic beads that look like candies.
You can hang it on your shoulder or wear it comfortably crossed.


Doll Face

The big-eyed smiling doll face has felt hair, wears two pompoms cherry earrings, and a tiny felt bow on the top of her head. I embroidered her face carefully, stitched a sheepish smile, and two big black eyes. I chose two felt circles for her chubby cheeks that brighten her face. Stuffed with polyfill.

En este directo enseñaré diferentes maneras de empezar y acabar las puntadas, la dirección de los puntos de bordado, por dónde es mejor empezar a bordar los diseños, opciones para transferir los diseños a las diferentes telas, como montar el bastidor... Cositas que van genial si no has bordado nunca, o para refrescar la memoria con técnicas que ya tienes olvidadas si llevas ya tiempo bordando. ✏ ✏ ✏

MATERIALES:
Tela para bordar, hilos (cualquier tipo), bastidor, marcador de tela, aguja y tijeras. (Si no tienes bastidor @asesinasuarez te enseña a hacerte un bastidor de guerrilla con lo que tengas en casa!) No se necesitan conocimientos previos de bordado.
Así que prepárate una buena merienda o un té calentito y pasaremos juntas una tarde de sábado de lo más entretenidas.
