These four Happy Unicorns are already listed in the shop, 
needed to make some retro unicorns in pastel colors and girly details 
🎀🤗🌈💕

A limited-edition of 4 One-of-a-kind art dolls
carefully handcrafted, hand-embroidered, patched, and mended.
Made with my favorite vintage materials:
old thrift fabrics, linen, wool, faux fur, and felt.
Carefully embroidered face, with an embroidered sleeping face on the back. 
 ✨
 their bodies are decorated with some frayed patchwork

and stitched in a Sashiko and Boro style.
Their wooly hair is gathered in two messy ponytails and braids
with stitched bangs in a different color.

Meet Carmen, my new One-of-a-kind red handbag featuring 

a Poppy Flower Doll Face with vintage Handles.

“I knew I had to make some beautiful bags with that lovely Red mesh fabric I found in summer. It reminds me of the old Spanish window lattices, carnations, and poppy flowers… It matched perfectly with the cream vintage handles that I kept from a long ago. Poppy flower dolls cheered it up with her smiling faces and then… I realized that Carmen as the best name for this very limited and unique collection.”

These are the two mini tote bags I made from a beautiful red mesh, 

a cute lightweight fabric that is also sturdy and resistant. 

I sewed and assembled it, it's reinforced with double seams. 

They both come with two round comfortable vintage plastic handles 

in a cream/bone white color.

Used some Black Velvet and Felt, 

as petals, 

to decorate the embroidered Poppy flowers 

Perfect for everyday essentials. 

You can carry a wallet, phone, make-up, keys… 

for city walks and nights out. 

for any crafter or sewing enthusiast.

They make an original and cute gift.

the only catalan magazine for toddlers,
inside you'll find also a two pages short story :)
very happy with this commisioned doll

mi pollito ha salido en la portada de Piu-Piu,
la única revista en catalan para bebés y niños de hasta 5 años,

estoy muy contenta con esta mascota que hice

Easter Bunnies

this year fancied making something girly and cute for easter,
chicks are great, but bunnies are so sweet!
i made four bunnies to celebrate spring
all dressed in different colors:
pink, aquamarine, yellow and red.
i stitched some embroidered flowers onto the dresses,
added felted flowers to decorate their hair
and white bows made from vintage ribbons
perfect for a nice stroll.

i just listed one bunny in my Etsy Shop,
the one in the yellow dress :)
i'm getting ready for Easter,

este año me apetecía hacer algo cursi
y muy de chicas para Pascua,
los pollitos son muy monos,
pero los conejitos son los más dulces!
así que he hecho cuatro conejitas para celebrar la primavera,
todas ellas vestidas con colores diferentes:
rosa, verde-agua, amarillo y rojo.
les he bordado florecitas en los vestidos,
 llevan flores de fieltro en el pelo y
unos grandes lazos blancos hechos con
cintas antiguas que tenía en casa
están perfectas para ir a dar un paseo por el campo.

he subido una de las conejitas a la tienda,
la que va de amarillo :)
estoy calentando motores para las fiestas,
a disfrutar de la semana!!

Chestnut doll

A Little Chick

how's is your august planner?
are you going out for some holidays?
we've been off for some days visiting friends
in Mallorca and Menorca back on July
(i'll post about the trip soon!)
and this month will be full of exciting new projects.
finished this commissioned chick for a catalan magazine,
that i made from a smooth yellow terry.
i enjoyed very much this commission!
had lots of fun designing and sewing his outfit.
isn't it cute?

cómo llevas tu agenda de agosto?
te has preparado una buenas vacaciones?
nosotros nos fuimos unos días a Menorca y Mallorca en Julio
estuvimos visitando algunos amigos
(pronto subiré un post, o dos, del viaje!)
y este mes parece que llega cargadito de nuevos proyectos.
he acabado el encargo para una revista local de este pollito
qué bien que lo he pasado!
he disfrutado un montón diseñándole y cosiendo la ropita.
