ya hemos vuelto a la normalidad :)
espero que hayáis empezado bien la semana!

he reconvertido algunas cometas de san valentín que me han quedado,
en felicitaciones por encargo.
ahora puedes escoger el mensaje que llevará bordado,
mensajitos cortos, claro,
tales como: felicidades,
te quiero,
o lo siento,
que te mejores...

así, podrán salir a repartir felicidad
y no se tendrán que quedar esperando el próximo san valentín.

are now recycled to custom greeting kites.

they won't be wating for next Valentine's day to fly away,
they are ready to go out and spread her love around the world!

estas son las felicitaciones especiales que he preparado para San Valentín,
son unas cometas retro que llevan una cinta bordada por detrás,
al final me han dado más trabajo del que pensaba! :P

sus caritas están todas pintadas a mano,
así que no hay ninguna igual ;)
también he combinado de manera diferente
las telas de detrás y los lacitos de las colas.

he hecho poquitas, 7 en total,
y las iré subiendo estos días a medida que las vaya acabando.
de momento hay estas 2 que ya están subidas a la tienda.

here are my Valentine's greeting cards!
handmade kites with a retro style and
embroidered "Happy Valentine" on the back.

thought it would be a fun Valentine's gift for a loved one,
as i always loved kites i fancied making
something simple and easy...
but finally it took little longer than i expected.

i carefully hand painted their faces,
combined different fabrics for their backs
and chose little bows for their tails in various colors...
so they all are one-of-a-kind :)

i've made a very small bunch, just 7 Valentine's kites,
i'll be adding them to the shop as i finish them.
this lovely pair is already on the shop!
