Lili Scratchy & Lilifefé

por fin tengo una pieza de Lili Scratchy, soy tan fan de ella!!!
hacía tanto que quería tener algo suyo...
sus personajes son aún más bonitos en persona,
y lo mejor es que llegó acompañado de una niñita hecha por su hija Lison,
el tote de..., y postales!
entre ellas la que han hecho junto con Mogu Takahashi.

la semana que viene Gabi y yo iremos a París
y estaremos con Lili, Mogu, Gini, Delphine, Chamo...
en la inauguración de la exposición de Mogu.
va a ser una fiesta!
será la primera vez que algunas nos conozcamos en persona.
uff! el mes de octubre va a estar cargadito de sorpresas,
ya os iré contando estos días ;)

Gabriel and me will meet them in Paris next week,
and we'll meet Mogu, Gini, Delphine & Chamo
at the opening of the Mogu's exhibition too!
i'm very very excited!!

hace unas semanas recibí un paquete lleno de sorpresas,
me hizo tan feliz!
Missy es una de las indie crafters más auténticas que he conocido,
ser crafter es un modo de vida, no es sólo hacer cositas a mano
y Missy es una buena prueba de ello.
asomarme al blog de Missy, descubrir sus fanzines y todo lo que hace
es como recuperar un poco del movimiendo indie de los noventa que siempre me ha gustado.
me he reído tanto leyendo sus fanzines...
Missy vive en Athens con Raoul de la Cruz, su gatita Nilla y un conejito llamado Oreo
todo lo que hace tiene un encanto especial.
casi no me he quitado su colgante de galleta,
sus clips de bellota, su galleta de fieltro pin... y ese unicornio??
es tan bonito!!

a few weeks ago i received a package full of surprises,
i was so thrilled!!
Missy is one of the most authentic indie crafters i've met,
being a crafter is a way of life, not only making handmade stuff, and Missy is a god example of it.
browsing Missy's blog, discovering her zines and cute stuff
makes a spanish girl like me remebering all that indie movement from the nineties that i've always loved.
lots of laughs reading her funny zines,
Missy lives happily with Raoul de la Cruz and her kitty Nilla in Athens,
all her creations have a special charm, i've been wearing her biscuit pendant all these days
the acorn clips, the red felted cookie pin... and what about this unicorn?
so beautiful!

New Workshop & Shop Update!

éste ha sido nuestro primer taller de bordado en Duduá (más fotos aquí),
fue tan divertido y estuvo tan bien que estoy pensando en hacer alguno más en octubre!

además de estar patrocinado por DMC (tuvimos material gratis!!),
Alícia preparó galletas de chocolate caseras y té para todas, fue una fiesta!
estuvimos aprendiendo los puntos básicos con el mini tutorial que preparé,
y con solo tres horas de clase la gente ya se animó a hacer cositas.
mirad qué maravillas han hecho Lola y Cecilia después en casa.
Núria de Las Coleccionistas estuvo también en el taller,
algunas de las fotos son suyas (me gustó tanto el retoque de color de sus fotos,
que he intentado hacerlo en las mías :P) y aquí su post sobre el taller,
parece que habrá algo de bordado en las próximas creaciones de Las Coleccionistas..

Ah!! el próximo sábado 18, de 17-20h, tendrá lugar otro TALLER DE MUÑECOS

this was our first Embroidery Workshop at Duduá, (more images here) it was so funny and nice that i'm thinking on preparing another one for next month!
DMC sponsored the workshop suplying all the materials, Alícia baked chocolate cookies and prepared tea for everybody, a great party!

we practised basic embroidery stitches following the little tutorial i made, 
 the girls just needed this workshop for feeling encouraged to sew their own projects 
 look what Lola and Cecilia embroidered alone at home. 

Núria de Las Coleccionistas joined the workshop too, 
 some of these photos were taken by her (i liked those colours so much that i tried to filter my pics the same way!)

Thanks to everybody who came that evening and joined the workshop!

Fantasy Embroidery Workshop at Duduá! today!!!

esta tarde organizamos nuestro primer taller de bordado en Duduá,
he estado bordando a ratitos esta semana,
y anoche me quedé preparándolo todo hasta tarde,
(con la película de Superman 1 acompañándome de fondo.)
estoy super contenta porque la casa DMC esponsoriza
algunos de los talleres de Duduá,
éste de bordado va a ser alucinante, gracias a ellos
tenemos un montónde hilos preciosos de mil colores,
bastidores y telas. va a ser una fiesta!!
ya os contaré cómo ha ido todo!
todavía me queda bastante por preparar!!

gracias por participar siempre de una manera u otra en todo,
tenéis que leer lo que escribió Holly en su blog haus maus sobre lo que puede significar llevar un reloj de mentira, es tan bonito...
los relojes han aparecido también en Creature Conforts (Gracias!!!!!), y Lili Scratchy combina su reloj de mentira con un montón de pulseras de colorines, queda super bien!!, mis dolis y dolos en preciosa selección de cositas hechas a mano por La Casita de Wendy (gracias Inés!!!), gracias a Babongo home por incluirme en uno de los treasuries de Etsy.

últimamente no sé dónde tengo la cabeza...
ayer olvidé por completo el cumpleaños de mi madre,
suerte que mi hermano me avisó por la tarde
y le hicimos una visita sorpresa, cenamos y lo celebramos.
per soy un desastre...

hay más cosas que me muero por enseñaros porque he recibido dos paquetes con sorpresas esta semana, de Missy de Sugarcookie y Lili Scratchy,
y son todas tan bonitas!!! esta semana os las enseño!

this afternoon: our first embroidery workshop at Duduá!
i've been finding time for embroidering this weekand I stayed up late preparing everything,(Superman I was on tv last night )DMC sponsors some of the workshops Duduá,so it will be amazing, we have lots of sewing supplies!beautiful thread, racks and fabrics.
i'll tell you about it during this weeki still have lots of things to prepare!
so happy for all your support...

New WORKSHOPS! nuevos talleres!

ya han empezado a preparar los talleres de septiembre en Duduá,

para los más pequeños a cargo de Cristina Moreno, Núria Brunet y Jordi Ferreiro

y cómo no, para niños/as grandes como nosotras de ganchillo, amigurumi y tricot!

esta vez me tiro al vacío y organizo dos nuevos talleres!

el de bordado de fantasía y el de relojes de pared,

el taller de calcetines no es nuevo, ya lo organizamos con motivo de Il·lustation

y salieron personajes tan divertidos que repetiremos!

(mirad los muñecos que ha estado haciendo Lola desde que vino al taller,

ya es toda una experta!)

esta semana os iré enseñando las cositas que estoy preparando para el primer taller del próximo sábado día 4,

incluirá un kit de costura con plantillas de dolis y dolos, hilos, tela bastidor...

me apetece mucho hacer ese taller,

probaremos técnicas nuevas y añadiremos diferentes materiales

para experimentar un poco con todo.

que tiemble el bordado tradicional!!! jejeje

pasaros por el blog de DMC hay tutoriales e ideas muy chulas

para ir haciendo boca antes del taller!

y estas ilustraciones tan increíbles son de Roland Escher de 1958,

pertenecen al libro "Mecki im Schlaraffenland" (aquí encontraréis el libro entero)

por lo visto Mecki el erizo fue una de las creaciones de Hermanos Grimm

y parece que se hizo muy popular,

he encontrado un montón de libros con sus aventuras.

we're preparing new workshops at Duduá,

i'm holding three workshops this september!

some new ones: fancy embroidery and customized clocks,

and an old one: stuffies made with socks, we already organized one for Il·lustation show, it was so funny that we'll repeat it!

(check Lola's amazing stuffies, she took part on the last workshop and she can't stop making them!!)

i'll be posting some of the things that i'm embroidering along the week,

the first workshop will take place next Saturday 4th.

there'll be a kit including sewing supplies, fabrics, some of my dolis y dolos templates, cute thread, cloth rack... given to each person joining the workshop.

i'm so thrilled! we'll improve techniques playing with different materials.

we'll kill traditional embroidery! hehe

My beautiful beaded dolls & the first peach

hace un tiempo compré una muñequita-colgante que me encantaba,

pero la perdí, así que hice un nuevo encargo a Jami de la tienda Variation en Etsy

y aproveché para comprar algunos muñequitos más para regalar.

cuando los recibí no me lo podía creer, eran a cual más bonito,

ahora me los quedaría todos...

están hechos con cuentas antiguas y los colores son tan bonitos.

los que me quedo seguro son la muñequita más grande con el gorrito de crochet

y el pequeñito con gorrito-cono. son preciosos.

y esta mañana gabi ha recogido el primer melocotón!!

yupiiii :D

os lo enseñé cubierto de flores rosas y parece mentira que ya tengamos melocotoncitos.

my beautiful pendant handmade by Jami (Variation shop on Etsy) got lost

so I ordered some more for giftgiving

it was a bad idea because I don't know which one keep for myself

love all of them!! so cute and adorable,

love the colors and those vintage beads

these days I'm wearing the largest bead doll with a crochetted cap

and the little one with hat-cone. these are my favs!

and this morning Gabriel picked up the first little peach!

i posted it full of flowers and i can't believe we already have peaches,

it smells so good!
