hope autumn started well for you.
i've been already crocheting a pair of cosy mittens
with furry and sweet mohair and merino yarns.
wishing to find a little of time to stitch the vintage patches
i bought long ago onto any of my coats, or onto the backpack.

just picked a photo of my dear doli chestnut
to wish you a super happy fall
full of nice walks, hot chocolate drinks, teas, chestnuts
and lazy afternoons on a cosy couch.

con unas lanas que tenía en casa super gustosas

de mohair y merino.

intentando rascar también algo de tiempo para coserme

unos parches antiguos a un abrigo o a mi mochila, ya veremos!

Mended and patched cardigan

this morning,
lovely chilly bath at the sea.
today,
put on my favorite cozy cardigan,
that i found at a flea market.
so full of holes that it had to be
mended and carefully patched.
so i sew it up with lots of love and a lovely lace.

esta mañana,
un baño fresquito en el mar.
hoy,
me he tenido que poner ya mi rebeca favorita,
la encontré en un mercadillo
y tenía tantos agujeros
que pedía a gritos unos buenos parches y algunos remiendos.
así que me puse a zurcirla,
con mucho cariño, encajes y puntillas.

parece que ha vuelto el frío,
la lluvia...
y con todo ello vuelven las tardes en casa,
trabajando en muñecas (que nunca acabo) y tutoriales,
rodeada de flores de todo tipo,
 las estampadas y las reales,
y también de parches bordados de animalitos retro.
se está bien en casita.

Embroidering Patches and Baking

hope december is treating you well :)
i'm trying to save some time to spend on the blog again
sharing pics of the things i'm into these days.
autumn it's being a very busy season
workshops filled all my time
so i planned to slow down a little
having a break on december.
hehe! just trying...
these days i've been having some fun embroidering patches,
samplers for the embroidery workshop
of this saturday at Núvol de fils harberdashery,
love this places full of beautiful craftiness.

and having a long baking morning today,
it was fun at the beginning but later i got so tired...
 flat bread, muffins, biscuits, toasted sesame
and pumpkin seeds while cooking a broth.
wishing tomorrow will be a quiet day.

espero que hayas empezado bien diciembre :)

estoy intentando sacar tiempo de debajo de las piedras

para ir subiendo fotos de lo que estoy haciendo en el blog.

otoño está siendo muy movidito,

con un montón de talleres que no me dejan tiempo para casi nada más.

así que he planeado un mes de diciembre tranquilo y relajado,

jeje no sé si lo conseguiré! de momento nada.

esta mañana me la he pasado horneando mil cosas mientras hacía un caldo.

crackers, galletas, muffins, pipas de calabaza y sésamo tostado...

al prinipio muy guay, pero he acabado a la hora de comer ( a las 3)

con una cansancio!

subiré los resultados de un experimento que creo que ha salido bien.

estos días he estado bordando muestras para

el taller de parches bordados de este sábado por la tarde

en la mercería Núvol de fils 

me encanta hacer talleres allí, con tanta cosa bonita.

 a ver qué lanita me llevo a casa este finde! ;)

me la he encontrado esta mañana cuando desayunaba,
un poco tristona
pero muy bonita, no? :)

Cosy mornings & healthy bakings

good morning :)
we had a very cold and cosy weekend,
beautiful sunrises and yummy bakings.
my favorite cookies:
spiced carob cookies

(vegan, gluten and grain free)
you can replace carob by chocolate :)
i use less honey, olive oil and double ginger instead of cinnamon.
you can also substitute arrowroot by millet,
or buckwheat flour.
or use just rye if you don't mind getting some gluten :)
and my best finding... is for this amazing
buckwheat chia bread,
so easy and yummy!
it's made with soaked whole groats and it's eggs and yeast free,
well, it tastes different than wheat bread...
(i looove bread!)
but it's really nice your body will really appreciate it.
it was hard for me to make it properly because you have to rinse it very-very well,
till water goes clean and groats isn't mucilaginous.
if you don't rinse it well it smells and tastes terrible.
i had to dump it two times until i realize
that the key was the rinse step.
oh! last time i forgot to add chia and it went well too.
And i add 1 tsp of honey to soften the buckwheat taste,
and with carrots it's also yummy!
i must try some other alternatives to make it sweeter or salter,
using flax instead of chia...:)

hemos pasado un fin de semana bien frío en casa,
con preciosos amaneceres y horneando cosas ricas.
os presento mis galletas favoritas,
son lo más!
galletas picantes de algarrobo.
podéis cambiar el algarrobo por chocolate,
y la harina de arrurruz por mijo, trigo sarraceno,
centeno o cualquier otra harina.
yo utilizo miel y aceite de oliva,
y le pongo más cantidad de jengibre en lugar de la canela.
y mi descubrimiento más celebrado
pan de trigo sarraceno con chía.
se utilizan los granos de trigo sarraceno remojados,
no lleva ni huevos, ni levaduras...
no sabe como el pan típico, claro.
no está tan bueno, porque a mi el pan me encanta!
pero el cuerpo lo agradece un montón!
yo le añado a la receta una cucharadita de miel
para suavizar el sabor del trigo sarraceno.
es super fácil y rápido de hacer, sin amasar ni nada.
el único truco está en aclarar muy bien los granos,
hasta que el agua salga transparente y no haya nada de viscosidad.
queda buenísimo con zanahoria rayada,
el otro día me olvidé de añadir la chía y aún y así quedó bien.
tengo que probarlo con otras cosas para hacerlo más dulce
o especiado con hiervas...
.

las mañanas siempre me dejan alguna que otra sorpresilla,
así de bonito estaba el techo de mi casa el otro día cuando se reflejaba el sol en el retrovisor de una moto que estaba aparcada enfrente de casa,
seguro que no se volverá a repetir, tuve la suerte de estar allí para verlo!! :)

More august surprises / Sprained ankle + Wildflower Dolls

hello there!
so happy august is ending now... hope september goes better.
did you remember i got a broken finger?
one week later got a sprained ankle!
i couldn't believe how silly it was... i was walking down stairs.
i've been ten days in repose and it looks it will take four weeks more.
yesterday i got this amazing orthopedic boot,
in a beautiful blue neoprene, i feel like robocop!
love it.
these sweeties, the wildflowers dolls that i'm making
keep my fingers and head busy.
i'm just sewing their pants :)
happy to have some quiet time at home.
gabriel took the worse role of the game,
because these days he's my nurse and manservant.
poor dear...

oh! fruit hooks were quickly sold out!!
your orders made me feel so lucky!!

hola!
estoy tan contenta de que se acabe agosto... espero que septimebre sea mejor.
os acordáis de que merompí un dedo de la mano?
pues a la semana siguiente me torcí el tobillo a lo bestia bajando unas escaleras.
una caída tan tonta...
me hice un esguince muy heavy, porque me dijeron que estuviera en reposo diez días y ahora me dícen que son seis semanas.
además me han dicho que lleve una bota ortopédica, que hace lo mismo que el yeso
pero es más guay y mucho más cómodo.
así ya me puedo mover mejor por casa y no tengo el pie por ahí a la virulé.
me siento como ropbocop, es de neopreno azul super chula.

estoy haciendo estas muñecas que serán florecillas silvestres,
así al menos, me siento en el balcón y me da el aire.
se está bien en casa,
gabi se ha llevado la peor parte porque es mi enfermero y criado,
pobre, le tengo frito...

ah! las frutas perchero se vendieron super rápidas!!
me hizo sentir super afortunada!!
